There are multiple game modes, and it is important to understand which characters are the best for overcoming every challenge _Honkai: Star Rail has to offer. Aside from the seven paths in-game, characters are generally considered within three party roles: Single Target DPS, AoE DPS, and Sustain.

After the recent edition of Firefly, Honkai: Star Rail is now host to fifty-two characters when including the Trailblazer's three variants. Jade is the next character after Firefly , and she is sure to shake up the meta as well. Each new character tends to improve other characters through new team compositions, or lessen their relevance thanks to powercreep. Understanding the ranking of characters will help to make the most of the 2.3 update.

Honkai: Star Rail Tier List

Characters have been organized into tiers based on their viability within Honkai: Star Rail 's current meta, though it is worth remembering that each character has a design that is uniquely worth considering. Even the least viable characters can fit into a strong team with enough investment. However, the characters that require less investment or support from their teammates are more likely to skyrocket in rankings.

Tiers

|

Characters

---|---

S

|

Acheron, Black Swan, Boothill, Sparkle, Robin, Aventurine, Jingliu, Fu Xuan, Luocha, Ruan Mei

A

|

Firefly, Kafka, Silver Wolf, Huohuo, Bronya, Seele, Blade, Imbibitor Lunae, Jing Yuan, Argenti, Dr. Ratio, Topaz, Imaginary Trailblazer, Clara, Tingyun, Pela, Lynx, Gallagher

B

|

Bailu, Gepard, Herta, Himeko, Asta, Hanya, Yukong, Xueyi, Qingque, Hook

C

|

Yanqing, Welt, March 7th, Fire Trailblazer, Natasha, Sampo, Luka, Guinaifen, Serval

D

|

Physical Trailblazer, Dan Heng, Sushang, Misha, Arlan

S-Tier Characters in Honkai: Star Rail

Close

S-Tier characters are the very best of the best. They are completely dominant in almost any team composition, and are absolutely essential for guiding the player in Honkai: Star Rail 's most challenging game modes. While other characters may fit their roles well enough, these are the characters who can outperform their peers in spectacular fashion.

Acheron and Black Swan are two peas in a pod. The two shared a romantic dance in one of the game's animated cutscenes, and they also happen to share space on one of the best teams in the game right now. Many characters who deal AoE damage struggle to deal sufficient damage to single targets, but Acheron's Ultimate solves this problem entirely.

Black Swan's playstyle is complimentary to Acheron's, as she often helps immensely to guarantee Acheron's Ultimate. However, Black Swan is viable in her own right thanks to her Arcana mechanic. She is very comfortable slotting onto DoT teams, even redefining the archetype.

Boothill is one of the newest characters in Honkai: Star Rail , so it's no wonder he is completely redefining the meta. New characters are often designed to be appealing by solving the game's hardest challenges, and Boothill is no different. He sports perhaps the best Break Effect value in the game, with his Standoff stance allowing him to shred bosses like paper, even with next to no support.

Sparkle is one of the game's best supports, and is indispensable for any team that needs a battery. Sparkle lets the party house a greater number of Skill Points than usual, and her Ultimate regenerates them with ease. On top of everything, she is one of the exceedingly few characters in the game who can advance a teammate's turn.

Robin is one of the characters most defined by her Ultimate. Due to her combined ability to grant the entire team an extra turn, sizeable damage buffs to herself and allies, and strong synergy with follow-up teams and generalist compositions alike, Robin is invaluable within Honkai: Star Rail 's metagame . Aventurine serves best in conjunction with Robin, and alongside other follow-up characters. However, he is a very strong Sustain in his own right, with his shields contributing a lot of value to any team.

Jingliu does enough damage to not need any Sub DPS to back her up. Instead, with support from the right buffers and decent support, Jingliu can lead teams better than almost any other character. Likewise, she doesn't require a specialized team archetype like many other top tier characters do. As long as she can remain in her enhanced state, Jingliu can lend players everything they need to topple the game's toughest bosses.

Fu Xuan is Honkai: Star Rail 's premiere Sustain character . Her skill is a huge tool for any party's damage reduction, redirecting damage to herself, in combination with an emergency self-heal. Fu Xuan can tank better than any other character in the game, and can render even her squishiest teammates unkillable.

While Fu Xuan is the game's strongest tank, Luocha is a strong contender for the best healer. He handles enemy debuffs exceptionally well, and is great at keeping the party healthy in a pinch. He can even apply an effect to the field that allows characters to heal themselves based on the damage they deal.

Ruan Mei is the perfect example of why a strong support can completely build a team from the ground up. She can increase the entire team's ability to apply Weakness Break, and even delay the actions of enemies attempting to recover from Weakness Break. She provides plenty of other utility thanks to buffs for essential stats like SPD, but her ability to excel in applying and maintaining Weakness Break is her strongest asset thanks to the mechanic's importance within every single battle.

A-Tier Characters in Honkai: Star Rail

Close

A-Tier characters are extremely capable, though may simply require a higher level of investment to fit onto a team. However, they are often worth the investment, often serving as the center of a given team composition. If a player wants to run a meta team, but finds themself lacking one of the [https://pad.geolab.space/f9OYr9qqTKOkYujtzNiiug/ Anime game patch notes]'s S-Tier characters, there are no shortage of characters within the A-Tier who can meet their needs.

Firefly is the newest character in Honkai: Star Rail , and she kicked off 2.3 with a bang. She enters an enhanced state with her Ultimate that allows her to dish out some of the best DPS in the game despite damaging herself. Likewise, she is continuing the recent trend of characters easily dealing with Weakness Break. Firefly can inflict Weakness Break on an enemy whether they are weak to her damage type or not, an extremely powerful trait that dominates the game's central mechanic, and allows her to slot incredibly well on any team.

Kafka is the shining example of a character who excels with the right support, and she is one of Honkai: Star Rail 's most popular characters for it. Damage-Over-Time, or DoT, is a very popular team archetype, and it's one that Kafka dominates with ease. However, if a player lacks the necessary support to bring this type of team online, Kafka will have to wallow for awhile until those needs are met.

Silver Wolf is one of the game's most unique debuffers, and the sort of character that is perfect for patching holes left open by others. She has the unique ability to create a weakness on enemies, meaning she fits well into "monotype" teams. Players are usually encouraged to cover a number of damage types, but Silver Wolf circumvents that need entirely .

Huohuo is a very versatile support character. She is one of the best characters for dishing out healing, and she provides significant damage buffs to boot. Having a Sustain is essential for almost any team, so picking up a healer who can perform multiple roles at once will allow players to navigate Honkai: Star Rail 's difficult game modes much more easily.

Bronya and Seele are an iconic duo that defined much of the early game's story, and its metagame. Bronya remains one of the best supports in the game with her ability to grant any given teammate an extra turn while buffing their damage. In fact, Bronya has seen a renewed place in the Star Rail meta thanks to newer editions like Boothill. As the game's first limited-time 5-Star, it's no wonder Seele came out of the gate swinging, and her role as a Single Target DPS is still only surpassed by a few characters.

Blade and Imbibitor Lunae can both alternate between dealing damage to an area of effect or single enemies. Blade has a self-damage mechanic that enhances his damage drastically. Imbibitor Lunae can consume multiple Skill Points at once in exchange for peerless damage.

Jing Yuan and Argenti are similarly strong DPS characters that both specialize in AoE. Jing Yuan is popular for a reason , with a follow-up attack that is reliable for stacking additional damage if players need a strong finisher. Argenti has the unique feature of firing off his Ultimate at half energy. This allows him to break out a heavy blow in a pinch, but means he requires support from characters who generate a lot of energy in order to really fire on all cylinders.

Dr. Ratio is a blessing; he was gifted to players for free in a limited time event that served as somewhat of an in-joke with the character himself, and the good doctor has only grown more relevant since. He provides follow-up attacks very reliably, which makes him a must have for any team that revolves around the mechanic. Topaz follows suit, thanks to the help of her trusty partner Numby. Numby essentially rotates follow-up attacks throughout the battlefield, guaranteeing a cycle where Topaz can apply heavy damage to one target before cycling to the next.

Imaginary Trailblazer is the best free character the game has to offer, paying off the player's earlier investment in dividends. They bring the Superbreak feature, and with it a massively improved DPS to any team they join.

Clara has DPS that is very respectable, but dealing damage outright is not her specialty. Instead, Clara specializes in drawing aggro from enemies, with the unique ability to deal very powerful counter damage in return.

Tingyun is the game's best 4-Star, and has been since her inception. She grants a very strong damage buff, with her Ultimate providing enough Energy to often let her teammates simply cast their Ultimate immediately following hers.

Pela is another exceptional 4-Star, thanks to her ability to remove buffs from enemies. Many boss enemies in Honkai: Star Rail rely heavily on buffing themself to snowball into the player and keep battles quick and decisive. However, some playstyles require battles to be drawn out longer, and Pela is essential to any team this rings true for.

Lynx has immense value as a 4-Star healer. Lynx can control aggro on the field and even remove debuffs on allies, a somewhat rare trait that only makes her that much more valuable. Gallagher is another respectable 4-Star healer. Not only can he apply healing to single allies, but he can apply a debuff to enemies that allows these allies to gain more healing themselves.

B-Tier Characters in Honkai: Star Rail

Close

B-Tier characters shine in particular areas, but not so much in others. The mark of a B-Tier character in Honkai: Star Rail is often power creep. B-Tier characters may only have one or two weaknesses, but the growing size of the cast means they have stronger alternatives.

Gepard and Bailu are perfect examples. Gepard is an incredible shielder by all means, and Bailu offers both a party heal and a single revive that can give the player a very secure safety net. Though they are powerful enough support units to carry a player through much of the early [https://www.glassyun58.com/home.php?mod=space&uid=714007 Anime game guides], they have fallen off in the metagame over time thanks to other characters simply performing their roles to an even greater extent.

Other B-Tier characters may be rising stars in specific game modes despite struggling to perform in others. Herta and Himeko define this role, given their almost absurd ability to carry in Honkai: Star Rail 's Pure Fiction game mode . Their reliable follow-up attacks pair well with one another, and other follow-up dependent characters.

Asta is a strong 4-Star for players to consider picking up. She provides SPD buffs that make her teammates able to take more actions during combat, which is absolutely essential given the system's mechanics. Likewise, characters like Boothill or Seele rely heavily on reaching certain SPD tiers compared to their teammates.

Hanya can apply a condition that increases the damage dealt to a single enemy, and regenerates additional Skill Points when the marked enemy is hit. This gives her decent utility as a support, but there are other characters who can farm Skill Points to an even greater degree.

Yukong is one of the few buffers in the game who specializes in dealing damage all on her own. Most other Harmony characters in Honkai: [http://Www.stes.tyc.edu.tw/xoops/ http://Www.stes.tyc.edu.tw/] Star Rail lend buffs that scale depending on one of their own stats. This is not the case for Yukong, who can instead focus on building DPS.

Xueyi has the unique ability to ignore weaknesses with her Ultimate. Xueyi's entire kit revolves around unique interactions with an enemy's toughness, including a follow-up attack that only adds to her utility.

Qingque has a unique luck-based playstyle. This gives her kit an element not seen in any other character, though relying on RNG can make her less consistent than the game's more dominant characters. Still, she's practically essential on monotype teams, as long as players can pair her with Silver Wolf.

Hook can function as either a Single Target DPS or an AoE DPS, and her damage output is high enough to make her provide more value than some of her other 4-Star counterparts.

C-Tier Characters in Honkai: Star Rail

Close

C-Tier characters are anything but unusable. Even some of Honkai: Star Rail 's characters who are least relevant to the meta can still remain impactful in shaping a team composition.

Yanqing has unfortunately fallen to the wayside over time. He is a Single Target DPS, and performs this role well enough in battles that require it, but he struggles to fit into many other scenarios. Welt is an AoE DPS who suffers the same problem in reverse. The two play well enough on teams in the early game, but struggle to measure up to their counterparts on Honkai: Star Rail 's standard banner.

March 7th can be a shining star in any player's beginning party. Though she is limited, just like her counterparts, she has a couple advantages that set her above them. Thanks to her reliable shields, March plays the Sustain role well enough that some players can put off picking up a better alternative. March also benefits quite a lot from raising Eidolon Resonance, and 4-Stars are easier to invest in thanks to their wider availability. Likewise, March's follow-up attack means she can be fit into the rising team-archetype if a player wishes.

Fire Trailblazer is a remarkable improvement to their Physical counterpart. Their ability to provide shields and draw aggro means they at least serve a unique role on any given team. However, they are still somewhat lackluster in comparison to March 7th. When the player gets both for free, and one much earlier than the other, it's hard to justify using the Fire Trailblazer long-term.

Natasha, the infamous underworld doctor , is a decent healer that players receive for free partway through a very early section of the game's story. However, she is not much more than that. Other healers have better tools to deal with enemies buffing themselves and debuffing the party. Similarly, even simple shielders provide greater value to sustaining the party.

Sampo and Luka belong together in more ways than one. Both are Nihility characters that can contribute to a DoT team in their own ways. Neither can lead a team on their own, but both serve well under stronger characters like Acheron or Kafka . Sampo in particular has a multi-hit skill that serves the break effect value of any team he's on.

Guinaifen can apply DoTs to multiple enemies at once. Though it doesn't add up to a lot of damage, it makes her a useful asset to some of the game's stronger DoT characters. Serval also has niche roles on mono-Electric and DoT teams thanks to her ability to extend the Shock effect, but does not present much value otherwise.

D-Tier Characters in Honkai: Star Rail

Close

Honkai: Star Rail is a game that strongly prioritizes making each character feel satisfying to use in their own right. For this reason, there are very few who feel truly unviable. Even though this is the thinnest tier by far, there are still a few characters that players would be better off leaving by the wayside.

Physical Trailblazer and Dan Heng are the standouts in D-Tier. Their status as free characters that the player receives by default means that they must be relatively weak for balancing purposes. However, they're still solid enough to remain usable, in contrast to some of their D-Tier counterparts. They both have more viable counterparts, but the player is incentivized to invest in the Trailblazer in particular, since their levels will carry over.

Misha and Sushang are nothing special. They play their respective roles as AoE and Single Target DPS well enough, but are outpaced by pretty much anyone else who can fit those roles. That is exactly where their biggest problems come into play: the player automatically receives characters who can fit those roles, while Misha and Sushang don't contribute much to specialized team compositions.

Arlan is, unfortunately, not much to write home about. He has a self-damaging playstyle reminiscent of more viable characters like Blade. However, Arlan does not have the damage output to make up for it. His presence makes a team far more frail without contributing much to the DPS. Likewise, Arlan lacks the sort of unique gimmick or necessary party role that may help a character's rankings.

With the release of this week's Senran Kagura: Peach Ball , Marvelous' stalwart franchise has crossed over into the world of pinball. This is far from the first time the brawler has switched genres, though. From rhythmic cooking to cutthroat water gun fights, the upstanding young women of Hanzo National Academy are truly Jills of All Trades.

However, with this most recent release, it's easy to wonder - where will the series go next? At first blush, it might seem like the games are exhausting their possibilities when it comes to genre. But have no fear! We're here with some salient ideas of how Senran Kagura can tap into the hottest industry trends to bring its unique brand of titillating action to an even broader audience! Let's strip down and get right into it.

MOBAs

MOBAs . Everybody loves them, everybody craves them, and everybody can agree that there definitely aren't enough of them.

That same sentiment can be applied to Senran Kagura , a series that's almost universally beloved, and completely bereft of criticism in the gaming community at large.

Naturally, combining the two would only go well. Imagine selecting your hero from the lineup of approximately 10,000 girls in the Senran Kagura series, then picking a lane and farming faceless delinquents alone while your team yells at you to actually contribute to the game. Imagine a base that isn't a towering ancient, but a giant anime girl whose clothes fly off the more damage you do to her. Imagine how many hats you could buy, except instead of giving your hero more clothing, it just disrobes them even more. It sells itself!

Marvelous would be crazy to not capitalize on the genre that birthed gargantuan hits such as Paragon , Gigantic , and Infinite Crisis .

Tactical First-Person Shooters

If there's one thing that could make hearing slurs barked into your ear a little easier to swallow, it's cute anime girls. Picture, then, a challenger to CS:GO and Siege 's throne. A bouncier, brighter, and more inviting challenger - but with all the brown and bloom you've come to know and love.

Players take control of their anime teen of choice, then get dropped into 5v5 matches on a variety of claustrophobic maps. While trying to defuse bombs, rescue hostages, and secure tactical areas, the girls will hunt each other down with military-grade weaponry. Upon taking a few slugs from a Type-89 or a face full of SuperNova buckshot, your girl loses an article of clothing and becomes instantly immobilized for the rest of the round. Too many losses, and bam - your skintight clothing is gone, and you've lost the match.

Oh, and the hostage dies or the bomb detonates, [https://www.counterstrike2Guide.com/articles/mastering-the-art-of-peeking-in-cs2-a-game-changer-s-guide.html Counterstrike2Guide] too. Also bad!

The sophisticated young women of Senran Kagura already have experiences with guns, too, having cut their teeth on the high-stakes water gun matches of Peach Beach Splash . Really, replace the water and bikinis with metal and tactical vests, and it's basically the same thing.

Survival Horror

Ryona ambles alone down a dark alley. The shadows around her begin to shift and swirl, and from behind her emerges a cacophony of otherworldly cracking, oozing, and groaning. She turns on a dime, with only a kitchen utensil to defend herself , to be greeted with what can only be described as a sentient orifice with writhing limbs haphazardly connected to its bleeding torso. It twitches and seizes like nothing in nature.

Before Ryona can scream, the creature rushes her.

But what she doesn't know is that this monster is one of her own creation. Her latent masochism has given way to these dark delusions - twisted abominations that are physical manifestations of her own innate desire to be punished by somebody, anybody.

Where do these tendencies come from?

Why is she trapped by them?

Can she escape this nightmare of her own creation, or will she succumb to her own repressed trauma? You'll have to help her survive this horror to find out.

Oh, and her clothes come off when she takes more damage. Gotta keep the fans happy!

Souls-Likes

While Code Vein might seem to have the market cornered when it comes to anime-tinged Dark Souls knockoffs, that's just not the case. People are going to keep making these things despite not really understanding why Dark Souls works so well. People are also going to keep putting cherubic anime girls in games because it prints money.

So why not just cut out the middleman and combine the two?

In this game, players will only be able to select one class - "Unclothed." This will basically be the Deprived class from Dark Souls , just with more sex appeal - if such a thing is even possible! Throughout the game, players will scavenge for new clothing as a member of Hanzo Academy, in a brutal quest to put on something both comfy and not in violation of every dress code known to man. But standing in the way are the girls of the Hebijo Clandestine Girls' Academy, ready to end your whole career with one swing of a sword. And be warned - your hard-earned clothing is completely breakable. Once it busts, you'll have to talk to some weirdo with a hammer if you want to stitch it back together again. Or buy a sewing kit!

With a franchise already intrinsically connected to girls murdering swarms of their peers, the leap between "cutting high schoolers down in the streets" and "dying ten times to get one hit in on something" is a pretty small one. Bonus points if From Software comes on board and imbues the game with the immersive, organic physics their games are known for!

These are just a few places Senran Kagura could go in the future, and if Marvelous wants to keep pumping out hits, they'd do well to take our advice to heart the next time they're strapped for ideas.

Or they could just make a fighting game already. That'd be cool, too.

NEXT: Xenoblade Developer Has Job Listings For Breath Of The Wild 2, Next Xenoblade, And New IP

The popularity and stardom that Counter-Strike Global Offensive has garnered over the last decade is nothing short of amazing. A staple in the FPS genre, every gamer has come across or at least heard of the game at some point. Although the game is almost a decade old, new players are still joining the game on a regular basis. Embarking a journey in CS:GO is not always easy, and there are a lot of nuances that need to be understood in order to gain success in the game.

Related: Counter Strike: 10 Mods That Make The Game Way Better

Players often develop wrong habits in CS:GO , and they never really address those problems, which ultimately hinders the progression. It’s of utmost priority that players should avoid making these mistakes for a smoother climbing in the game. Here are 10 things that players should absolutely avoid doing if they are aiming for good results in CS:GO .

Many players tend to push towards the enemies without any proper plan, especially at the beginning of the round. Pushing can be a good surprise tactic that is most suitable when you have nothing to lose.

However, when you are loaded with utilities such as Smoke Grenade and Flashbang, you should try to use them before making a Hail Mary run. Dying without using the utilities will not only harm your economy, but you are also donating free goodies to the opposing team.

Managing the economy is one of the most important aspects of performing well in CS:GO . After each round in a game, players will get money depending upon the performance in the prior [https://Counterstrike2guide.com/articles/the-million-dollar-pixel-art-counter-strike-2-s-blue-gem-ak-47-makes-history.html cs2 guide] round. The better you do, the more money you get. Kills, Assist, Bomb defusing, and planting all affect the amount of money you get.

Although the idea of buying the most expensive weapon every round can be tempting, it’s certainly not the right approach. It’s important to manage the economy so that you are never low on the budget.

A very common mistake that players make is giving away footstep noises to the opposing team. This not only gives opponents a general idea of your location, but it also buys them enough time to rotate or re-strategize. This could also hinder your own game plan, and it will essentially put your whole team in a bad spot.

Related: 5 Ways Counter-Strike Has Changed Since 1999 (& 5 How It's Exactly The Same)

Shift walking and Crouch walking do eliminate the noise of the footsteps, and players should prioritize using either of them as much as possible.

Communication and coordination is the key to success in any multiplayer game. Fortunately, CS:GO has both voice communication and a ping system available that can help in communicating.

However, despite having the necessary resources to communicate, players often shy away or just do a very poor job of communicating. Using communication effectively will certainly improve your chances of winning the game, and it makes the playing experience much smoother in general.

Flashbang is one of the utilities available in the game. When used, it instantly blinds anyone that is looking at it directly for a brief moment. Although it’s a very good tool and can be super effective when used properly, many players blind their teammates, including themselves, instead of blinding the opposing players.

The key is to communicate beforehand and alerting your teammates that you are going to flash. Flashing recklessly can be super dangerous, and more often than not, it will lead to you getting killed immediately.

Dying to enemies that are hiding in corners is very exasperating. Every map in CS:GO has a lot of sharp angles and corners that make for a very good hiding spot.

Related: 5 Reasons Counter-Strike Is The Best Tactical FPS (& 5 Why It's Rainbow Six)

Not checking corners could be a blunder that leads to you getting eliminated from the round. It’s crucial to stay on your toes and always check every corner thoroughly before making a push.

Getting better at shooting takes proper learning, and not everybody is good at it. Most guns in CS:GO produce noticeable recoil while shooting, and controlling it is another skill that players developed over a period of time.

Despite not having a decent hold of a gun, many players tend to shoot continuously even when the entire spray is missing. Most of the bullets don’t connect, and in retaliation, the opposing player kills you immediately. Rather than spraying hastily and missing every shot, it’s better to shoot at a slower pace.

CS:GO is a team game, and it takes proper coordination to find success in it. Even though individual brilliance carries a lot of weight, no game is winnable without the help of teammates and a proper game plan.

A lot of times, players roll into games without having any idea of how to approach it. This might work in rare cases, but most of the time, the team with a strategy will prevail.

The task of reaching a bomb site and planting the bomb successfully can be quite daunting as a Terrorist. There are multiple ways of how to approach a bomb site, and a lot depends upon the players’ playstyle along with the map.

Until it’s a rush round or an economy round, it’s never a bright idea to carry the spike while leading the team from the front. If you die, the bomb basically is now in CT’s territory, and reclaiming it can be a hassle.

Proper crosshair placement is very crucial in any FPS game, and it’s what most new players struggle with. Maintaining a random crosshair placement will lead to missed shots, and more often than not, you’ll lose the trade.

The headshot percentage will be significantly low, and overall climbing will become more difficult. Along with learning recoil control, getting down the right crosshair placement should be the main objective for any player.

Next: 10 Best First-Person Shooters Of The Last Decade

Unlike games such as Valorant, where skins are bought directly from a store and are infinite, in [https://www.counterstrike2Guide.com/ Counter-Strike 2 Game Blog]: Global Offensive knives and many other items are only created when players open cases. This causes real-money skin prices to reflect supply and demand. This means knives can be a costly purchase. According to Skincashier, the most expensive known knife sale was a StatTrak M9 Bayonet, Crimson Web, Factory New, which cost in excess of $60,000.

Not all of us have $60,000 to spend on knives, of course, so it can be difficult to find nice-looking but cheap ones. You don't need to worry about spending hours searching, though, as that has been done for you. These are not simply the cheapest knives, as that would result in the list being comprised of just Navaja Knife entries. Instead, the list only features good-looking knives priced at $350 or below, as this is cheap by CS:GO standards. The prices used were the steam community market prices at the time of writing.

10 Navaja Knife, Ultraviolet, Factory New: $222.89

Market Listing

The Navaja is a fairly unpopular knife in the CS:GO community, which is no exaggeration. CS:GO skin YouTuber TDM_Heyzeus used community votes from nearly 3,000 people to rank the knives from best to worst, and the Navaja was voted the worst by a considerable margin.

This aside, the Navaja Knife, Ultraviolet, Factory New is a good-looking knife. Ultraviolet finishes look good on pretty much anything, so it's no surprise that the best-looking Navaja knife uses it. The simple colours and minimalist design make it look clean and sleek whilst also hiding the base appearance, which leaves much to be desired. The unsightly wooden handle in most Navaja knives is replaced with a solid colour of purple, which pairs perfectly with the black blade.

9 StatTrak Shadow Daggers, Crimson Web, Field-Tested: $183.85

Market Listing

Crimson Webs are among the favorite finishes in the game, with some collectors even specializing in them. As such, it's not hard to see why the Crimson Web is a popular skin. The dark red of the skin combined with the black lines crawling over the knife, creating a spiderweb, is a visually striking image. In addition, it is easily recognizable, making it great to show off.

For less than the Navaja Knife entry, you can not only get yourself a Crimson Web knife but also get it in StatTrak, so you can keep track of all those you have embarrassed in-game.

8 Skeleton Knife, Urban Masked, Field-Tested: $345

Market Listing

This entry comes in very close to the price limit for cheap knives, but with good reason. The Skeleton Knife is one of the most unique and visually striking items in CS:GO.

The Skeleton Knife in Urban Masked looks simple and allows you to appreciate the design and shape of the knife itself. The knife has a hole in the middle of it between the handle and blade, making it one of the most interesting weapon designs to date. Urban Masked is a skin that looks almost the same in all conditions besides Battle-Scarred, so you can opt for a cheaper version and be largely unable to tell the difference.

7 Paracord Knife, Night Stripe, Minimal Wear: $217.92

Market Listing

It's not common for skins to look good in every condition. Usually, skins will look their best at the Factory New side of the spectrum (or the Battle-Scarred depending on the skin). Unfortunately, people tend to go for either of the extremes, and other conditions are overlooked. This knife is one of the few exceptions. It's simple and minimalist and looks great in all conditions, so if you want to save some money, it doesn't matter too much if you buy a more worn and cheaper variant.

The Paracord Knife itself is a great knife with an interesting blade design with two slits, but the main attraction is the handle. The handle is wrapped in paracord, which is a general-purpose utility cord useful for survival situations. It's a nice design that stands out from the other knife handles and this certainly sets it apart from the rest.

6 Karamit, Scorched, Field-Tested: $297.13

Market Listing

Karambits are one of the most iconic knives in gaming, thanks to CS:GO. The Karambit was one of the five knives first introduced in The Arms Deal update. The Karambit is easily recognizable, thanks to its signature curved shape. It is also unique because the blade is positioned to the right of the default view model instead of the left like every other knife (besides the Talon).

Scorched skins make the weapon look like it has seen heavy action, which is why, currently, the conditions below Field-Tested are more expensive. However, if you want to get one of the most iconic weapons in gaming, this is a good place to start.

5 M9 Bayonet, Night, Field-Tested: $266.89

Market Listing

The M9 Bayonet is a great looking knife with beautiful animations to go with it. This version is plain and effortlessly elegant. Sometimes a simple black item is needed for special occasions. For formal events, you have a black tie dress code. For matchmaking, you have the M9 Bayonet Night.

This one is for those that don't want anything too flashy or distracting, as it's an extremely stylish black bayonet with no intricate designs or patterns. In Field-Tested, the knife displays a few scratches, which give the weapon a more realistic look.

4 Classic Knife, Case Hardened, Well-Worn: $162.30

Market Listing

Over 20 years ago, [https://www.counterstrike2guide.com/articles/my-epic-journey-building-the-ultimate-pc-for-counter-strike-2-in-2025.html Counter-Strike 2 patch notes] started as a mod for Half-Life (a revolutionary FPS itself) , before becoming a standalone game and developing into the series fans know and love today.

In previous instalments of the series, everyone had the same knife, and there was no way to change its design without risking a VAC ban. The Classic Knife is a large part of the history of Counter-Strike for this reason. The Case Hardened skin has many different patterns available, with different variants of each color, making each example of it rather unique. Case Hardened skins are great for those that want something colorful, as they replicate the harsh rainbow of spilt oil.

3 Bayonet, Damascus Steel, Minimal Wear: $324.99

Market Listing

The Damascus Steel finish is one of the most beautiful in the game and not one you see all too often, which is great if you want to stand out on a budget. Unlike the M9 Bayonet, the Bayonet does not have a serrated edge on the back and instead has a straight edge. The intricate ripple-like patterns of the Damascus Steel finish are unlike anything else in the game. However, it can be difficult to see the pattern without going into a sheltered area on some of the brighter offerings from CS:GO's range of maps.

Inspect it with caution when playing, as you may find yourself mesmerized by it and unable to pay attention to anything else.

2 Gut Knife, Freehand, Battle-Scarred: $98.47

Market Listing

The Gut Knife is a somewhat polarising knife within the community. However, Gut Knives are typically cheaper than other knives, even in good conditions with rare finishes.

The Freehand finish is similar to the Damascus Steel, because it has very intricate and elegant patterns inside the skin. The Freehand uses ancient-looking inscription designs on the blade, which also has an otherworldly feel to it. The knife's condition will determine how much of the pattern is on the blade and not scratched off, so if you particularly like the pattern, it may be worth paying extra for a better condition version.

1 Ursus Knife, Slaughter, Minimal Wear: $332.94

Market Listing

A Slaughter entry was surely inevitable. This unique pattern remains a fan favorite. Although you could have two people with the same Slaughter knife in the same wear value, almost every knife will look unique because of each patterns' different stripes. You won't have to worry about clashing with your teammates and one of you having to change.

The Ursus blade is an interesting survival knife that can look great depending on which finish it uses. Ursus knives also have a chance of playing an animation in which the player throws the weapon up into the air before catching it, which is a nice touch. Fans of this ever-popular title go wild for this one.

NEXT: Tips To Improve Your Aim In Any PC Shooter
