Nintendo is a gigantic company and Smash is one of their most profitable properties, so why is the netcode/online experience for every Smash game so arduous? The trailer does make it clear that all characters do have a signature weapon in some capacity. If these items are a part of the gameplay mechanics, it would be great if you could also customize them to some extent. In order to compete with genre juggernauts, Nickelodeon: All-Stars Brawl could easily set itself apart with weapons or items that are attached to specific characters. The game got big enough for the developer to be acquired by Ubisoft in 2018, and has since participated in many crossover events with video game and TV properties. Brawlhalla isn't the most complex platform fighter, with movesets being limited compared to the average platform fighter.
