Fortunately, we’ve attempted to take some of the confusion out of your Comic-Con experience with a complete schedule of all the TV panels. While some series have yet to announce specific details , the majority of television series have already confirmed their plans for Comic-Con 2

Dead by Daylight has built a dedicated fan base thanks to a constant stream of creative new killers, including famous ones like Jigsaw from the Saw franchise , as well as some original creations from the developers. Dead by Daylight succeeds in creating some genuine tension as players attempt to outsmart the killer, but with the killer controlled by a human player instead of AI, that's a lot easier said than d

Premiere Picks: Helix (Syfy) from Battlestar Galatica creator Ronald D. Moore; True Detective (HBO), starring Matthew McConaughey and Woody Harrelson; Sherlock (PBS) season 3; Black Sails (Starz); and (A&E) and BBC America’s Fleming: The Man Who Would Be Bond mini-ser

January starts off with the highly-anticipated premiere of Community season 5, and then the world of television jumps backs in to gear as all of your favorite shows begin making their return from the holiday hia

Once you’ve fixed all the generators, you can escape via one of two doors, each of which takes a bit of time to open — during which, of course, the killer will be making one final mad dash to kill you. At some point if you play Dead by Daylight, you’re going to be faced with an open escape door and a fellow survivor in need of help behind you, and which you choose is going to reveal a lot to me about your character.

The third title in the single-player RPG is perhaps the longest-developed game of all time, leaving fans waiting for over a decade. Mother 3 takes place on Nowhere Island, an undetermined amount of time after the events of the previous game, Mother 2 . Lucas, Claus, and their mother Hinawa are preparing to journey home before the evil Pigmask Army strikes, bombing Tazmil Village and eventually taking it o

The now-defunct Telltale Games built its games around the idea of player choice having an impact on the narrative, but as many players discovered, those promises were mostly just smoke and mirrors. Until Dawn , on the other hand, incorporates player choice in a truly meaningful way, with players able to decide the fate of basically every playable character in the game. Playing like a big budget Telltale-style adventure game, Until Dawn is a fantastic homage to 80s slasher films with an engaging story full of surprises and scares, and it's one of the most essential horror games of the last few ye

We know now that PT is a "playable teaser" for Hideo Kojima's Silent Hills , a game that will never actually materialize since it was canceled by Konami . But back when it released, it was a truly mysterious and bizarre experie

It's ironic that a game revolving around saving someone's soul from hell was almost lost to the inferno itself. Though it did not spend as many years in development hell as some other titles, fans were sure this title would never see the light of day as its cancelation was announced when Sega hit financial difficulties, and they deemed Bayonetta 2 as too much of a risky project to fund. Thankfully, the game was not canceled indefinitely and eventually released for the Wi

From the same company that created The Witcher came Cyberpunk 2077 , a solid first-person RPG set in the fictional Night City in the year 2077, where megacorporations rule most of the world, and nearly every person has cybernetics of some sort grafted onto their body. Players control V, a customizable character that is possessed by the AI spirit of dead rocker Johnny Silverhand, who is deadset on taking over their b

The holidays are now over, and 2014 is upon us, and with it comes a television premiere/return schedule even more complicated than in the fall. As old and new favorites return from break, even more old and new shows will begin to premiere, and it will be up to you to decide what to and, more importantly, what not to wa
There will be several different killers in the SLG game Resource Management, each loosely based on different classic horror movie villains, but only one was featured in the PAX demo, a hulking Jason-like with a machete and bear traps. As the killer, you can always see where the generators are, so you have a good idea at least where to patrol. If a survivor makes a loud noise, like from failing that generator prompt, a prominent icon shows up onscreen giving you the exact location. Likewise, when a generator is fixed, it turns on and gets highlighted in your view. Show up to the generator and see a fading red trail leading away and you know a survivor is very close. Chase them down and give them a good slash and you’ll injure them, making it much easier to catch up with them again later. A second slash will down them, making them eligible to be picked up and carried to a meat hook to be "sacrificed" upon death as tendrils take them away. The whole concept of needing to hang the survivors up on a hook instead of just killing them right then and there is a little silly, of course, but it provides good tension for the game on both sides.
