The Assassin's Creed franchise is in a bit of a weird spot. Ubisoft has made it clear that it plans to keep updating Assassin's Creed Odyssey with fresh new content, but strong rumors of a new Assassin's Creed game have been around for a while, with a Roman and Viking setting both seeming pretty likely. Instead, Ubisoft focused on Watch Dogs Legion during its press conference, which is admittedly a bit like a modern day Assassin's Creed. However , the lack of a new Assassin's Creed still left a hidden blade-shaped hole in the hearts of many gam

The E3 press conferences have come an gone, and while there were plenty of interesting reveals and teases, there are some notable games missing from the show. While not all of these games have even been confirmed yet, many of them have had incredibly convincing leaks and rumors circulating about them, while others probably just need some time to cook before they're ready to be shown

The gaming landscape has changed considerably in that time. With the new generation of consoles came new standards for design, and while Fable , for the most part, holds up in terms of gameplay, there are mechanics within it that may have trouble in the new wave of video games. Specifically, there are bound to be difficulties with Fable's handling of morality, and with how significant the mechanic is to the game, it may create other hurdles as w

Although its current window of release is unknown, Techland's Dying Light 2 is one of the bigger games known about so far. It was delayed from its spring 2020 window, instead likely releasing sometime this fall. All things born will eventually leave this place, and while no one quite knows where they go, traces of their time on Earth linger after they leave. Leaked footage of a triple-A Harry Potter RPG began circulating months ago, but there's been complete radio silence regarding the project since then. Fans were hoping that Warner Bros. would make a surprise appearance at one of the press conferences this year to show off the game, but the focus was instead put on another adaptation, LEGO Star Wa

The rumors appear to be painting not only a significant next iteration for a much-beloved franchise, but also a rich, complex, and deeply customizable RPG that will show off just how powerful the Xbox Series X has the capability to be. The excitement from fans of the franchise alone trumps a lot of other significant games in the Xbox's pipeline, with the Fable fanbase crossing their fingers in anticipation each and every time Xbox holds a major press event or confere

To be fair, Bethesda did say that Starfield and The Elder Scrolls VI wouldn't be appearing at the show, but many fans were holding out hope that Todd Howard would surprise gamers with a new trailer or some gameplay from either title. Starfield was the more likely candidate, as it's expected a lot sooner than the next Elder Scrolls, but Bethesda stayed true to their word, and what Starfield and Elder Scrolls VI will wind up looking like remains just as much of a mystery as it was last y

From the brilliant minds at Bloober Team, [https://www.adventurejourneyhub.com/articles/when-my-controller-dropped-shinji-mikami-s-tango-exit-rocks-gaming-world.html Adventurejourneyhub.Com] developer of Layers of Fear 2, Blair Witch , and the previously mentioned Observer: System Redux comes a new original next-generation psychological horror, The Medium . Haunted by a vision of a child's murder, players control Marianne, a medium that's living between two different worlds: the real world and the spirit world, and must find answers in an abandoned hotel resort. For the creation of The Medium 's soundtrack, Bloober Team has chosen to collaborate with Silent Hill composer Akira Yamaoka in an effort to reflect the game’s theme of duality. Ideally, there will be a balance between the old system and the creation of the new one, though, with no game confirmed so far, it's difficult to say what exactly that will look like.
