College Football SpreadsBetting Tips Football (Bestfootballtips.Com)
The College Football Against the Spread Betting lines is unquestionably the most popular form of College football odds. Unique to the sport, both NFL and College Football betting lines against the spread are often discussed widely by sports pundits and experts throughout game week. Here at Pickswise, our experts are on hand every week to trawl through all of the stats, trends, team news and more to provide a full analysis and break down all of the Power 5 and Top-25 Ranked College Football Spreads. Check back throughout the season to compare all of the top College football spreads, from the best online sportsbooks this week.
NCAAF Odds – NCAAF Spreads Explained
So what are NCAAF spread? Well, it’s dissimilar to the college football money line odds in that you’re not picking the outright winner of the match, but instead who will cover the spread as set by the sportsbooks. Similarly to the Money line, you’ll have a favorite and an underdog, but instead of these being reflected in the odds, they’ll be reflected in the spread line. This means that a bigger favorite will have to concede more points to cover the spread and likewise, the underdog can lose by more and still cover the spread.
If the match finishes a tie, with the points against the spread taken into account, the result will be a push and your stake returned. For example, If you wager on Alabama -8 and they win 27-19 i.e, by 8 points, it will be a push. If they win by 9 or more, then your ticket will cash, 7 or fewer, your ticket will lose.
College Football Money Line Odds
College Football money line odds are the simplest form of college football odds. Money line odds are simply the probability of each team winning the game and used to calculate the amount you’ll win if successfully bet on them. With overtime periods played, there are only two possible outcomes, Team A or Team B to win so you’ll have money line odds for each team.
College Football money line odds are typically displayed in American odds format, whereby the favorite will be given a negative number, -200 for example, which shows the amount you must wager to win $100 profit. The money line underdog will be the team with a positive number, +175 for example, this indicates the amount you’ll win for a $100 wager.
College Football Over/Under Odds (Points Totals)
The College Football Over/Under odds remain pretty much the same from game to game, much like with the odds against the spread, where instead of the odds changing, the line itself does. The actual odds of the college football over/under lines will typically be around -110 but can go up as high as -120, at this point instead of the odds getting any worse, the line itself will change in that direction, i.e up or down a point.
College football can see some real high lines on college games, particularly if a shootout or blowout is predicted. With this, it means we can see big fluctuations throughout the game week in both the lines and the odds. Here on the college football odds page we bring you all of the latest and best NCAAF odds so you know the best place to shop to make sure you’re betting better.
College Football Futures Odds
College Football Futures odds allow bettors to place wagers on bets that will conclude further down the line rather than the outcome of a single match. These markets include the likes of the National Championship Odds, Conference Winners, To Make The Playoffs, and Individual Player Awards. Placing a futures bet is a great way to have a prolonged interest throughout the college football season, be it a team-based bet such as the winner of the SEC, or a player-based bet such as the winner of the Heisman Trophy.

Much like the Super Bowl Odds, the following seasons’ odds are readily available shortly after the conclusion of this season’s National Championship Game. The College Football National Championship Odds will fluctuate throughout the offseason with roster moves and recruitment, and then also throughout the season in reference to the onfield action and team performances. Our College Football National Championship Odds update in real time so check back throughout the season to see the best, and latest College Football National Championship Odds.
College Football Playoff Odds
College Football Playoff Odds are the oddsmakers’ calculated chance that a particular team will make the playoffs. With the current playoff format, and there only four teams advancing to the playoffs you can still get decent value odds, though not as big as the odds for a team to win the National Championship. To start the season there are typically at least 2 or 3 teams that will have much better odds than the field, think Alabama’s the Clemson’s and the Ohio States of the world. There is every chance that one or more teams will start the season with negative money odds to make the playoffs. The odds to make the playoffs won’t be available as soon as the national championship odds themselves but they will be available ahead of the season and updated regularly throughout.
College Football Heisman Trophy Odds
The College Football Heisman Trophy Odds are by some way the most talked about college futures odds following the National Championship itself. The Heisman Trophy has been won by some of the greats of the game over the years and experts, bettors and analysts alike love to try and uncover the next winner of the prestigious award. This market is typically wide open to start the year but can take shape pretty quickly after a couple of stellar performances. Quarterbacks, much like the NFL MVP Award have dominated the Heisman in recent years, but De’Vonta Smith proved in 2020 that other positions, a Wide Receiver in this case, can actually win the award, and did so with huge The College Football Heisman Trophy Odds. Our Heisman odds are regularly updated in line with the sportsbooks changes, with performances and injuries the two big mitigating factors in seeing the lines move. Check back throughout the season to see the latest The College Football Heisman Trophy Odds.

MLB Money Line Odds
MLB Money Line odds are the simplest form of baseball odds, they simply represent the odds-chance of either team winning the match. With no ties in the MLB, the Money line is simply choosing win or lose, making it the most simple type of MLB odds to decide upon..
MLB Money line Odds will usually be displayed in the following format, known as American Odds. The Money line favorite will be given a negative number such as -200, and the underdog will be given a positive number such as +200. With a favorite and a negative number, the number tells you how much you must stake to win $100, so at -200 a $200 wager will return $100 profit, $300 total. An underdog or a positive number such as +200 shows how much you will win for a $100 stake, so a $100 bet at +200 will turn a $200 profit, $300 total.
MLB Run Line Odds
The MLB Run line odds is most like the NHL Puck line, and unlike the NFL and NBA spreads, as it’s the odds that change range than the line itself, game-to-game. With the MLB run line odds, the run line will sit at +1.5 or -1.5 for each game and the odds will move depending on the teams’ perceived chances by the oddsmakers. Just like the Money line, the run line odds will be displayed in the American format, meaning the negative number shows how much you must stake to win $100 and the positive number, how much you will win for a $100 bet.
What does the run line spread actually mean? Well, the MLB team that is favorite will be given the negative run line, such as -1.5, meaning they need to win by more than 2 runs for your wager to be successful. Conversely, if betting on the underdog, they have to lose by two or fewer runs or win for your bet to come through.
We have all of today’s MLB Run Line Odds, right here on the MLB odds page, every day of the season. Check out where to get the best MLB Odds against the spread right now.
MLB Totals Odds – MLB Over/Under
Betting the MLB totals or over/under the total number of combined runs scored in a match is a great way to have a wager on a game where you don’t like either side on the Money line or run lines. Betting the MLB Totals is to bet that the total runs scored will be over or under a line set by the sportsbooks, typically anywhere between 7.5 and 9.5 runs per game. The odds will also change depending on the matchup and which way the sportsbook’s lean on the over/under. Research is key in betting the over/under, particularly with pitching matchups, bullpens, and the hitting lineups, and how they’ve fared against certain pitchers and conditions previously. Our experts at pickswise take all of this and a whole host of advanced statistics into account when making our MLB Picks on the over/under markets and in determining whether a particular pick is at the right odds or not. Check out all of today’s MLB odds for the run line, every day of the season, right here on the MLB Odds page.
MLB MVP Odds

MLB Odds To Win Division
Baseball is a marathon and not a sprint. The reason the MLB schedule is 162-games long is to ensure the cream rises to the crop. Anyone can beat anyone, on any given day and this is why a lot of MLB bettors stay clear of the majority of day-to-day action and focus on the team’s futures. One of the most popular ways to do this, aside from the World Series odds themselves, is through the MLB Odds To Win the Division. With 6 division titles up for grabs, and some divisions much more contested than others, you must do your due diligence ahead of locking in those MLB division odds. You can also parlay these selections with most sportsbooks, and those MLB division odds can rack up pretty quickly when doing so. NHL Against the Spread Betting Lines
When it comes to betting against the spread, the NHL is your ideal destination. After all, these are among the most hotly debated topics among bettors. Betting against the spread works by placing a bet on whether your bet will ‘cover the spread’, rather than which team will win the game.
What does this mean? Well, the NHL team regarded as the favorite will be given a negative spread line, such as -2.5, while the underdog will be given a positive spread line, like +2.5. This means that if betting on the favorite, they need to win by more than 2 goals for your wager to be successful. Conversely, if betting on the underdog, they have to lose by more than 2 goals for your bet to come through.
You may be wondering why the .5 is used in this situation. Well, this decimal ensures that your bet will definitely produce an outcome and not become void – after all, your chosen team won’t be able to score half a goal!
One of the main advantages to betting against the spread rather than opting for a money line bet is that when backing the favorite, you don’t have to commit so much money in your initial stake to get a big return. It also turns up the heat – your bet will be less of a foregone conclusion and you’ll be desperate for your team to score that one extra goal you need!
NHL Money Line
Everyone loves a good NHL money line bet. Here at our hockey betting odds hub we cover betting lines for all the big NHL games, as well as providing you with a range of sportsbooks to compare.
The old classic of US sports betting, these types of bet work by giving the favorite a negative line, such as -130, and the underdog a positive line, like +250. To win $100 while backing the favorite, you will need to invest $130. However, to win the bet by backing the underdog, you only have to invest $100 and you’ll receive a potential payout of $250.
For all the latest NHL money line odds, daily lines, and lines for tonight’s matches make sure to check out our NHL odds hub. You won’t regret it.
NHL Over/Under Odds
Over/under bets show that sometimes being neutral is the way to go. When it comes to this type of bet, our NHL odds and betting lines are based on how many goals will be scored in total rather than on which team will win.
Our odds might cover a bet on over 6.5 goals to be scored in a game, or perhaps under 5.5. In this sense, you’re wagering on whether the total number of goals will be above or below the line, as set by the sportsbooks.
To win over/under bets it’s important to do your research. The quality of each team’s offense and defense is the first place to look, before moving onto more detailed analysis like each team’s history, potential line combinations, and form examination. This is where our NHL Picks can really come in handy!
NHL Live Odds
Your opportunity to bet on the game isn’t over when the first puck is dropped – far from it! Live betting is a great way to place a wager while the game is ongoing. It’s fast, high-octane stuff, and you’ll need dynamic NHL odds to stay ahead of the game and maximize your chances of making a profit.

In terms of the terminology itself, a prop bet refers to a specific action happening in the match Team props will include bets like when in the match a team will score a certain amount of goals, while player props revolve around individuals, and could be based on how many shots a player takes.
Overall, prop bets are there to add a little spice to your betting and vary greatly from sportsbook to sportsbook, so make sure to check and compare all the hockey odds presented in our NHL hub before placing your bet.
NHL Odds & NHL Betting Lines This Week

Money line bets are simple – they work by giving the favorite a negative line, like -120, and the underdog a positive line, such as +260. Conversely, to win your wager by backing the underdog, you only have to invest $100 and you’ll receive a potential payout of $260.

College Basketball Against The Spread Betting Lines
College basketball is the perfect place to enjoy a bet against the spread. This type of bet works by placing a bet on whether your wager can ‘cover the spread’, rather than which team will come out victorious.
You might be wondering what this means. Well, the NCAAB team regarded as the favorite will be given a negative spread line, like -5.5, while the underdog will be handed a positive spread line, such as +5.5. As a result, if you bet on the favorite, they need to win by more than 5 points for your bet to come through. If you’re betting on the underdog, they have to lose by more than 5 points for your wager to be successful.
Why do we use the decimal .5 in this type of bet? Well, this ensures that your wager will definitely produce an outcome and not become void – after all, there are no half points in college basketball.
College Basketball Points Total Odds Over/Under
If you’re a neutral observer of college basketball, over/under bets might be for you. Our NCAAB odds for these wagers are based around the total number of points to be scored in a game, rather than on which team will win.
For example, you might see betting lines for 141.5. You can then choose whether you think there will be more or less than 141.5 points in this college basketball game. Before deciding, it’s important to do your research. Factors like form, team history, line combinations, and quality of each team’s offense and defense can all play a part, so make sure you’re clued up. This is where our NCAAB picks can be a great help

Moneyline NBA Odds
NBA Moneyline odds are by far the simplest form of NBA odds to understand and wager on. With NBA Moneyline odds you are simply wagering on which of the two teams you think will win the match. With no ties in the NBA, it’s a straight right or wrong market, with odds just for the two teams to win available.
NBA odds on the Moneyline will usually be displayed in the following format, known as American Odds. The Moneyline favorite will be given a negative number, -350 for example, this shows the amount you must wager to win $100 profit. The Moneyline underdog will be the team with a positive number, +400 for example, this indicates the amount you will win if you wager $100 on them to win.
NBA Betting Lines Against The Spread
NBA Odds and Betting Lines Against the Spread are one of the most widely discussed and wagered of all NBA betting markets. Unlike the NBA Moneyline odds, the odds against the spread you’re wagering on which team will cover the spread rather than simply who wins the game. The favorite can win without covering the spread and the underdog can cover the spread while losing the match.
Reading the NBA odds against the spread is similar to the Moneyline whereby the favorite will be the team with a negative spread line such as -10, and the underdog will be displayed by a positive spread line such as +10. The odds for either side of the line are usually the same and at around -110 meaning you’ll need to stake $110 to win a $100 profit.
If the match finishes perfectly between the spread so in the above example of a -10 line if the favorite wins 110-100, both -10 and + 10 results in a tie, so both sides of the spread will be pushed. A push means a void bet, your stake will be returned.
NBA Points Total Odds Over/Under
The NBA odds in the over/under or Points Totals markets are the best way to wager on a game if you don’t feel particularly strong about either side or expect either a defensive battle or free-scoring game. Some bettors prefer to not wager or pin their hopes on one team, but rather the entire match itself, you can wager either over or under on the Points Total line.
Like when wagering against the spread, with the over/under on the points total the odds stay the same at around -110 and the line itself changes match to match. You can then wager if the total points combined from both teams will hit over or under the line. For example, if the line is set at 220 points and the match ends 120-112 the overs hit, if it ends 100-92 the unders bettors will cash their tickets.
There are lots to consider in making a pick in the over/unders markets, with team news, injuries, and matchups all used when considering whether to go over or under the totals betting line.
NBA Odds Live Betting
NFL Live odds are a great, exciting way of wagering on an NBA game once the event has started. We have all sat there watching a game thinking this is going to happen or I still like the Lakers to win despite being down 15, well with NBA live betting you can act upon these premonitions.
Sportsbooks have dynamic NBA odds updating as the action unfolds, from the Moneyline, to the totals and spreads, as well as in some select cases, player props for you to wager on.
This is a new and exciting way to wager on a game and whether you want to hedge a bet if your pre-game selection is doing well, or you’d rather get a feel for the game before getting involved, Live Betting gives you added flexibility to do that.
NBA Prop Bet Odds
NBA Odds for Prop Bets markets are usually split into Team Props and Player Props. As the titles suggest, you can wager on props around team performance or also around a specific player’s performance.
Player Prop Bets are particularly popular with their close propensity to daily fantasy draft, something sports fans have enjoyed for much longer than legal online sports betting. With player prop bets you can wager on the main three-player performance categories in points, rebounds, and assists or a combination of all three. The lines will be set for each of the players and you can wager over or under on these lines. You will also from time to time see special prop bets such as Lebron James to hit 2 or more dunks in the game, which are more fun bets than anything else.
Team prop bets can range from anything like alternative spread lines or points totals, where you can increase the odds by increasing the lines or play it a little safer, a bit like a teaser pick and reduce the line. There are also markets such as point races, so if a team is typically fast out of the blocks but wilt late on, you can wager on the first team to 30 points or 40 points, with different points totals available.
There are many ways to wager on prop bets and they will differ greatly from sportsbook to sportsbook, so be sure to shop the odds before placing your wagers. The tiny differences that might seem irrelevant before tip-off, like 2 points on a point’s totals spread, can end up being the difference between a winning bet and a losing one.
Betting Lines & NBA Odds Today
With the regularity of the NBA schedule, teams can play on back-to-back days and often do. With this, the oddsmakers at the sportsbooks will not release the NBA odds and betting lines until after that game has been completed. Typically the odds will go live on the morning of the game, but this is very much a game-to-game thing, with schedule and the time of the match both determining factors.
Out NBA Odds page will display these odds for your benefit as soon as they go live. With all the top sportsbooks on display, you can easily compare the odds before placing your wager.
You can see movement in the odds and lines early in the day once they are released as sports bettors often favor one side. Therefore, if you get on the right side of the line early on, it can pay if the line moves in your favor. By contrast, you can also end up wagering a team at -7 and by the start of the game, they are only -4 favorites if public money has gone the other way.
Basketball Betting Odds
Here you’ll find all of the latest basketball odds for all of the upcoming basketball matches. Pickswise has you covered for everything you need to know about basketball odds, including how to read and calculate them.
NBA Futures Odds
NBA odds are not just a day-to-day and game-to-game thing, with many sports bettors opting to put down some long term NBA futures bets at the start, or throughout the NBA season. NBA odds for the futures markets are set before the season starts for the Championships, Conference Titles as well as the player and coaching awards such as MVP and Rookie of the Year and updated regularly in-line with how the season unfolds.
NBA Championship Odds
Of course, the most popular and most discussed NBA futures odds and the NBA Championship Odds themselves, the odds for each team to win it all. NFL Odds Money Line
NFL Money line betting is the simplest way to wager on an NFL game. With NFL Money line betting you are simply picking which team will win the game outright. With that, the Money line odds are simple, you’ll have set odds for either team to win the match, and if the game results in a tie, the bet is a push and your stake is returned.
NFL Money line odds will be displayed in the following format. The Money line odds favorite will be given a negative number, -250 for example, this shows the amount you must wager to win $100 profit. The Money line odds underdog will be the team with a positive number, +350 for example, this indicates the amount you’ll win for a $100 wager.
NFL Against The Spread betting lines
The NFL Against the Spread Betting lines is unquestionably the most popular form of NFL odds amongst NFL bettors and experts. Unique to the sport, the NFL betting lines against the spread are often discussed widely by sports pundits and experts throughout the game week, in the lead up to the matches. NFL Betting lines against the spread are also widely used in the NFL expert picks throughout the season.
So what are the NFL against the spread betting lines? Well, it’s dissimilar to the Money line odds in that you’re not picking the outright winner of the match, but instead who will cover the spread as set by the sportsbooks. Similarly to the Money line, you’ll have a favorite and an underdog, but instead of these being reflected in the NFL odds, they’ll be reflected in the spread, with the favorite conceding points such as -7, and the underdog receiving points, such as +7.
In similar fashion to the Money line Odds, if the match finishes a tie, with the Against the Spread NFL betting line taken into account the result will be a push and your stake returned. For example, If you wager on Green Bay -5 and they win by 5 points, it will be a push, if they win by 6, your ticket will cash.
NFL Odds Over/Under
NFL Odds over/unders is the most popular NFL odds market in which you aren’t betting on one side or the other. Some bettors prefer to not wager on one team, but rather on the match itself, and the NFL Odds over/unders allows you to do just that, as you’re waging on whether the match points total will go over or under the line, as set by the sportsbooks.
The NFL odds in the over/under markets remain pretty much the same, with either side of the line typically around -110, but instead, it is the betting line that will differ from match to match.
There is lots to consider in making a pick in the over/unders markets, with team news, weather, schemes, and form all to be considered for deciding to go over or under the totals betting line.
Lines can vary greatly depending on the teams, the location, the weather, and much more. It is not unusual to see one match’s NFL betting line for the totals to be set at 38 points the same week as another match is set for 52, so each match provides a unique challenge.
NFL Live Odds
NFL Live odds are a great, exciting way of wagering on an NFL game once the event has started. There are many situations where bettors will look at live odds, be it you’ve missed the pre-game markets, you want to hedge a bet if your pre-game selection is doing well, or you’d rather get a feel for the game before getting involved.
NFL live odds are dynamic in-play odds offered in-line with the events as they take place, reacting, and reflecting the on-field action.
Most of the main pre-game NFL odds markets are offered as NFL Live Odds, such as Money line, Totals, Spreads and also some selected Prop Bet markets such as Next Touchdown Scorer and Anytime Touchdown Scorer
NFL Odds Prop Bets
NFL Odds for Prop Bets are typically split into Team Props and Player Props, with NFL Player Prop particularly popular due to their close propensity to Daily Fantasy Sports contests and their focus on individual player matchups.
Unquestionably the most popular NFL odds in the prop bet markets are on player touchdowns, with odds on the First, Last and Anytime touchdown scorers offered by the majority of online sportsbooks for every NFL game across the season.
Shopping the betting lines is always important when placing your NFL wagers, with an extra point in your favor against the spread sometimes the difference between winning and losing, and it’s no different when shopping the odds, particularly with player prop bets. You can often see a player +500 to score first with another sportsbook offering +700, which is a sizeable difference.
NFL Odds & NFL Betting lines this week
NFL odds and NFL Betting lines this week are set almost right after the previous week’s matches have concluded. Sportsbooks take the most recent performances into consideration when setting the lines, and will look to go live soon after each game week.
Typically you see movement in the odds and lines early, so it can pay to bet early if the line moves in your favor, but you also run the risk of being on the wrong side of the line come gameday.
NFL Futures Odds
NFL Futures Odds allow bettors to place wagers on bets that will conclude further down the line and not on an individual match. These markets include the likes of the Super Bowl odds, Conference Titles, Divisional winners, Playoffs, and Awards. Placing a futures bet is a great way to have a prolonged interest throughout the season, be it a team-based bet such as a conference title, or a player-based bet such as the MVP betting.
NFL Playoff Odds

A popular futures wager, for a team to reach the playoffs, is likely to be even more popular this coming season with the additional spots in each conference.
Betting a team to reach the playoffs offers a bit more safety than betting a team to win their division, as Wild Card teams will also see your ticket cash in this market.
NFL Division Odds

With this, comes some great wagering opportunities with the NFL Division odds, particularly in the more competitive divisions.
NFL MVP Odds
The most talked-about and popular of the NFL awards odds is the NFL MVP odds. It is widely discussed throughout the season, particularly towards the end of the NFL regular season.
The MVP race is typically a wide-open affair to start the season, with luck and injuries playing a big part in the award winner. Lawrence Taylor was the last non-quarterback or running back to win the league MVP award back in 1986 so it often pays to not stray far from these two skill positions, which is usually reflected in the pre-season NFL MVP Odds.
