Sometimes it's hard to distinguish the difference between an exciting trailer that wants to show off its characters to the actual moment-to-moment gameplay. However, each character that jumps into the screen such as Powdered Toast Man and Sandy Cheeks all arrive with a fancy character entrance. This may be nothing more than a trailer feature but more than likely an opening move when first starting a new match.

The most realistic possibility is that it'll just use the background music from all the Nickelodeon shows and movies as stage music, with a couple of new songs created just for the game.
