On this Candy Factory map, players will have no problem finding a hiding spot, as there are too many to cover in a single match. There are also tons of props, many of which follow the map's theme of 'candy.' With 20 max players, Candy Factory becomes a warzone full of hunters and pr

My favorite weapon, the bow and arrow, has some wholesale moves from Zelda’s character kit in Hyrule Warriors - just rebalanced to a somewhat more grounded power level. The moves remain as cathartic as ever to unleash though, paired with all sorts of meta-strategies that grant an immense skill-ceiling for each weapon. For instance, my bow could land primed explosive shots that a different arrow type could then trigger, making tremendous explosions dealing substantially more damage.
All told, Wild Hearts is a ton of fun, and definitely should be on your radar if you’ve been contemplating trying Monster Hunter but were put off by the sheer sea of options for character building. With that said, while the core loop may quickly feel comfortable for experienced monster hunters, I fear the nuance may be lost on those new to the game just looking for a quick taste to see if it's to their liking.
Prop Hunt - The Farm takes inspiration from the old farm map and expands on it with newer features and cosmetic designs. Like the older map, The Farm is pretty small, leaving fewer hiding spots, but only allowing 10 people to p
Wild Hearts draws loosely from Japanese history during a period of unrest - in the game, caused by enhanced creatures known as Kemono. Some Kemono are small and easily slain, but others grow to the size of mountains (including a very literal mountain bear that greets you with a roar in the opening title sequence). You’re a customizable (including gender-neutral options!) hunter joining the fray with up to two other players to restore order to the land. Also, there’s magical ‘ancient technology’ known as Karakuri that lets you turn random bits of wood and stone into towers, jump pads, and more with spirit energy and old machinery.
It’s incredible how far Monster Hunter has come in just a few short years. What was once a fairly niche franchise in the West has managed to gain an immense foothold in the public consciousness. Now millions of players are bashing colorful monsters to create their own ludicrously large swords, bows, pikes, and more! So what’s Omega Force bringing to the table in their partnership with EA under their EA Originals label? Wild Hearts, a monster hunting game with... Fortnite building? Yeah, I’m just as surprised as you, but it works better than you’d expect!
Goku wears his signature orange and blue gi. The Son Goku skin also has three other styles, each of which features Goku in a different transformation. The first is Super Saiyan, the second is Super Saiyan Blue, and the third is Ultra Insti
Players have to risk leaving their pillar if they'd like to move or try to eliminate an opponent. However, they must also build protective barriers to make sure that they're not taken by surprise by another player and eventually go to the middle so they aren't lost to the storm as it starts closing in. Ultimately, the key to victory is thinking fast, as gamers must manage their inventory while focusing on their surroundings and the st
Speaking of breaking from legacies, I’m also pleased to report that Wild Hearts is a PC port with Koei-Tecmo in the credits that doesn’t feature horrendous optimization, weird framerate caps, or a lack of basic keyboard and mouse support. Granted, not every key binding is available, particular thumb keys most gaming mice come with these days, but this is a massive step up from their middling ports in days past. Performance in our pre-release builds wasn’t perfect, but fairly reasonable for a game without its launch day patch. I eventually had to turn some settings down, but it remains a gorgeous game regardless, including superb facial animations.
