Tiger Vanguard is a difficult boss because he hits hard and has a huge variety of different attacks. However, most of his attacks follow a simple pattern. Once you’ve figured out how to dodge and recognize each attack, you can easily defeat him.
Following Light Attack with Heavy Attack performs Tactical Retreat. The Destined One hops backward and hones his defenses while preparing for another fierce attack. Following Tactical Retreat with another Heavy Attack that consumes a Focus Point unleashes Forceful Thrust.
In Black Myth: Wukong , you'll cling to your gourd and the healing nectar inside in order to claim victory over the gnarliest foes. Your staff will vanquish enemies , and your armor will offer protection . But the Gourd will ultimately keep you above ground in a pinch. Your gourd has a set amount of uses that can be replenished by absorbing green flame-like souls found throughout the world, or by simply resting at an incense checkpoint. You'll begin your journey with the Old Gourd which offers you 4 uses that will partially recover your health bar.
To fight Shigandang, you have to defeat Stone Vanguard and collect six Buddha Eyes scattered across Chapter 2. Once you’ve collected all six Buddha Eyes, you can head to the location where you fought the Stone Vanguard and deliver the eyes to the strange rock in the middle of the field .
Shigandang hits hard and has tons of HP . However, its attacks are slow and easy to dodge, making it much less of a threat compared to some other bosses that you may encounter in Chapter 2, such as the Tiger Vanguard , and the Yellow Wind Sage.
You’ll likely only get hit by this tackle if you’re too near the boss. The tackle itself doesn’t deal as much damage. You can avoid it by creating some distance from the boss or dodging backwards . The second hit is slow and is similar to all the jumping smashes the boss throws at you.
After a successful hit with Resolute Strike, Https://www.wukonggame.cc/ performing another Heavy Attack consuming a Focus Point executes Skyfall Strike. The Destined One leverages his forward momentum, launching himself into the air with his staff to somersault forward, then unleashes a firm downward strike upon his enemy's head.
The boss will launch a 5-hit combo , hitting the Destined One with his claws in quick succession. There’s a slight delay after the second and the fourth attack. The final attack is a thrust and the boss will jump back after using it. From there, he can start another combo.
The basic strategy for this boss battle revolves around your taking control of the fight. If you give the boss a lot of room to attack and use his combos, he’ll most likely kill you because his attacks deal a lot of damage. Tiger’s Acolyte doesn’t have that much HP so if you keep rushing him down , you’ll be able to defeat him easily.
Your initial Gourd can be upgraded with the Shen Monkey vendor in the first region, Black Wind Mountain . When you obtain the proper materials, you can fast-travel to the Marsh of the White Mist rest stop in the Bamboo Grove. The Shen Monkey is just down the path and can upgrade your gourd in exchange for the materials required. For instance, the Old Gourd (which offers 4 uses) can be upgraded to the Medicine Gourd which grants players 5 uses. You'll need the following item in varying quantities in order to upgrade your gourd.
There are a ton of optional bosses that you can face off against in chapter 2 of Black Myth: Wukong . Some of these bosses are so far away from the main bosses that you probably wouldn’t come across them unless you knew where to look.
Like Curios, Relics also offer ongoing passive benefits. In your first playthrough, there are a total of 5 relics. You will receive one after you complete each of the first 5 chapters. They each come with 3 perks and you must select one.
The boss will raise one of its legs and arms at once into the air. It will then bring down its arm and thrust it into the ground , releasing a shockwave. After a short delay, the ground will start to glow, and, as the boss pulls out its arm from the ground, the ground will explode . This attack has a huge AOE . The giant rock on its back might rattle a little before the boss is about to execute this attack.
Defeating this Yaoguai King boss rewards the player with Skandha of Feeling Key Item , the true purpose of which you’ll find out later in the game as you make progress. The Destined One also receives the Heart of Stone crafting material .
From the Windrest Hamlet Shrine, go to your left and cross the small bridge with a few Yaogauis on it. After that, go downhill and head to the large arched bridge, and you’ll find Tiger’s Acolyte on top of it.
