Yangyang is one of the first characters that players will receive from the story, and she’ll help teams get along until some more characters become an option. Yangyang has a few options for players to utilize in the team. She can be a hybrid or even a strictly support character if desired. When using her as support, you can utilize Yangyang’s outro skill to generate resonance energy for the next character and use her crowd-control abilities.
Another good choice for a hybrid build weapon will be the Lunar Cutter 4-star. This will give Yangyang 6 stacks of a buff named Oath when entering battle. Every Oath stack will increase her attack by 2% and can be triggered 1 time every 12 seconds . Every 2 seconds , the Oath buff will go down by 1 stack , but when defeating an enemy, all stacks will be replenished. This is a good choice if you’re looking to keep Yangyang’s time on the field to a bare minimum, since Yangyang can use her kit fairly quickly and effectively, this is going to be a really nice option to keep her field time optimal for other characters do start dealing some heavy damage and gain her outro skill buff.
Elemental resistance is brutal in Wuthering Waves, reducing damage by 50 to 70 percent ! Static Mist will increase energy regen by 12.8% and when her outro skill is used, the next character will get a 10% attack buff for 10 seconds . This is the most optimal weapon for Chixia and one of the easiest 5-star weapons to get your hands on.
Verina or Baizhi will be your best options for healing. Since Wuthering Waves launched, they’ve been the two standout healers and are relatively close in how their kits operate. Verina is a 5-star that buffs the entire team, while Baizhi is a 4-star character only capable of buffing the next character swapped in. Neither will hit quite as hard as any dps, but it is still very nice if either one of them is on the team to heal up any damage that comes your way. Both healers have insanely quick rotations and will allow you to bring Jinshi back onto the field as fast as possible for more damage.
Healer : While dodging is an important mechanic to master, building your healers will make the Tower of Adversity far easier to tackle. Healers give you a fallback if you miss one or two dodges or allow you to tank a few direct hits while setting up for a strong attack. For the last team slot you are going to need or wish to have a healer, Verina or Baizhi will be your best bet for healing in general. While Jianxin can be built to do some minor healing, these two will provide buffs and amazing healing in general. Verine will buff the entire team with her outro skill and her Resonance Liberation will apply healing when damaging an enemy, even when she has been switched out for another character. Baizhi’s Resonance Liberation will also heal the entire team while also granting the next character to switch into combat, an entity that will follow and damage nearby enemies.
