|
Nickelodeon viewers who grew up watching the early-morning Noggin block will remember this moose and bird duo. Acting as a teacher of sorts to the viewers, Moose would ask questions while Zee would communicate with various blinks.

So, it's been about a week now since the official announcement of Nickelodeon All-Stars Brawl and the internet has been fully absorbed in creating new jokes, memes, and images ever since. This upcoming game, created by Ludosity (previously known for Slap City, a pretty fun Smash-like fighter in of itself) seems to be of a higher quality than any other Nickelodeon (or Western cartoon themed) fighter has ever been and also seems to have a lot in common with the most well-known fighting game Super Smash Bros. Because of that similarity the internet has latched onto this game in an instant, whether it's making threads on forums hypothesizing wild choices on potential future characters , making memes poking fun at Smash Ultimate, or just talking about the state of the game in general. We've had a blast seeing all these memes, so it seemed like a good idea to share some of our personal favorites with you.

Arnold is generally your average kid, but that doesn't mean he couldn't still have a unique move-set that separates him from not only Helga but everyone else. Episodes have featured anything from baseball bats, to trash cans, to pigeons, all of which can be incorporated to make Arnold fun to p

We hadn't thought about it until now, but thanks to @ActualAero's question on Twitter, what is the soundtrack of this game going to be like? The most realistic possibility is that it'll just use the background music from all the Nickelodeon shows and movies as stage music, with a couple of new songs created just for the game.

The announcement of Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl certainly came as a surprise, to fighting game fans and cartoon enthusiasts alike. Taking inspiration from the likes of Super Smash Bros. , Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl brings together characters from the company’s history to duke it out in arena matches. Competitors include characters from SpongeBob Squarepants , Invader Zim, and even Ren and Stimpy. It’s also great seeing the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles make an appearance as well. The character options are almost as wild as some of the zaniest suggestions for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate DLC fighters. The roster definitely seems stacked, though some fighters making their way to the arena are still unknown at the time of writing. While it’s great to see fan-favorites make the cut, there are certainly plenty of underrated mascots that deserve a spot on the roster too.

The main trailer for this game showcases a wide array of stages to punch and brawl your way through. Having a large diversity of stages from the get-go will be optimal for this game's success. The trailer seems to show the same stages but with different characters in them. Perhaps this is alluding to the fact that there might be dynamic stage layouts that shift depending on the action taking place.

Roof Rage is a small indie game on Steam and Switch that is surprisingly fun. Its thirteen different characters are gorgeously rendered in pixel art, and it's smooth animations and good game feel are sure to impress. The game plays in a comparable way to the average platform fighter, but it's systems and the impact of landing hits sets it ap

Rivals of Aether even has four new characters and rollback netcode coming in the near future. To make that good news better, those four characters originated as mods on the Rivals of Aether Steam Workshop , which also hosts thousands of user-created characters, stages, and modes. This one is not to be missed, especially now that it has its own sequel in developm

Reggie can use her skating skills to move around the battlefield and do tricks with her skateboard to attack, or get inventive and use her skateboard as a weapon. Jenny's super strength and speed, as well as her large array of weaponry she can turn her hands and feet into would give her a move-set that will make Jenny the fan-favorite she was always meant to

Next up is Brawlhalla , probably the most successful game on this list. While Brawlhalla 's art and animation style haven't won it a ton of fans, it is a free-to-play game on most platforms that receives frequent updates and has a thriving competitive scene. It's gameplay struck the right balance between deep, and accessible, to draw in a playerbase and keep

Man Ray could play similarly to Captain Falcon in Super Smash Bros. Incredibly fast, lots of combo potential but with very few ranged abilities. Perhaps, too, the developers will be able to bring in other Mermaid Man and Barnacle favorites, like the Dirty Bubble.
| ||
