Harold Joseph, more commonly known as Stretch, gets out of prison in the early stages of GTA V __ and gets back to work in the gang lifestyle with Lamar Davis and Franklin. Of course, we find out gradually over the course of a few missions, that Stretch changed sides in prison and was working for the Ballas the whole time. He almost gets Lamar killed later on in the game, when the three protagonists have to assault the sawmill to save him. If the player chooses not to have Franklin kill Michael or Trevor, and instead takes out their enemies, Stretch gets what he deserves. Betraying your gang and trying to get homies killed? Some "savage" characters practice wanton violence, others betray anyone they can to get things done, others just have no respect for human life, and the last group are just people who are barely human in general. Josh Bernstein isn't particularly violent, but he is still savage in the sense of treating people like absolute garbage and not caring for anyone but hims
The first [https://www.gta5fans.com/articles/the-making-of-gta-v-early-insights-from-rockstar-s-visionaries.html city-first game design] in the series to offer more than one protagonist, things play a bit differently than before. As each character is introduced, you’ll play only as them for a few hours to get acquainted with their backstory and style of play. After all three characters are firmly established (about ten hours in), however, the rest of the narrative shifts between them. There’s missions unique to each character, some of which focus solely on their story (like Michael keeping his awful family at bay) and others that combine all three characters together. One mission, for instance, has Trevor flying a helicopter, Michael repelling from it and scaling a building and Franklin providing cover via a sniper rifle from a neighboring building. While some parts of the mission must be done as a certain character (like Michael repelling), others let you play as you want to. For instance, after fleeing, you can choose to either pilot the helicopter, shoot from inside or provide cover from a building with a sniper rifle. This swap happens on the fly via holding down on the d-pad, which allows any one of the three of the characters to be chosen. You can complete these mission parts as just one of the characters, but it’s generally best to cycle between all three to be most efficient. In-between missions, characters can almost always be swapped to at will by the same d-pad method. This is effective for both doing individual missions and covering different parts of the city. As the character’s safehouses are generally spread apart, it’s a nice feature as the character closest to the desired destination can instantly be swapped to, saving commuting time.

Later on, Cheng's men kidnap Michael and hold him hostage in a meat packing facility, thinking Michael is Trevor's gay lover. With the amount of work and customization Rockstar clearly put into it, it's far from a throwaway feature. Those who tailor the settings to their likings will realistically find a whole new way to experience the title. Some may even prefer many aspects of first-person mode. While I found it agreeable, I still prefer to experience the entire game in third-person, but there's no denying that gunplay can be more smooth and precise in first-person. However gamers decide to experience it, though, they can be assured it will be in a beautiful setting.

The trend would continue with 'The Ballad of Gay Tony,' received just as strongly.
Speaking of Geralt, let’s talk about some RPG tropes. The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt isn’t the only one guilty of this, but it’s my most recent example. Okay, so you’re tasked with finding your adopted daughter of sorts, Ciri, before an evil force finds her. Throughout the game, this sentiment is blasted into Geralt’s head repeatedly as an urgent mission where a second lost could prove fatal for Ciri. With that being said, you can mess around for countless hours doing remedial tasks like hunting monsters, playing cards, or locating a crazy old woman’s pot. It’s an open world RPG, so there needs to be stuff to do in order to expand the gameplay and I’m fine with that. Perhaps don’t patronize the player for taking their time though. It’s disheartening, although I’d rather feel bad than having a time limit implemented like in Dead Risi

Now as dramatic as I made that out to be, this is supposed to be a hilarious take on video game logic memes. Granted I may come across grumpier, or more agitated rather than lighthearted, but know I’m coming from a place of love with these entries. Again, I love video games and even though these memes bring up a good point in contradicting logic, I wouldn’t give up gameplay just to make the world make more sense. That would detract from what actually makes video games the greatest medium out there. Anyway, before you read on know that some of these entries contain SPOILERS . However, one thing I can't stand is Kratos. There's not enough time for me to air all my grievances, but let's start with his undying love for his wife. It, and the loss of his daughter, fuels his rage. He’ll do anything to avenge their souls. However, he's not above sleeping with random women in every game. Kratos, you've got some terrible marriage issues bud, the least of which is that your wife and child's are dead while you do the dirty deed with these prostitutes. True, his wife is dead, so he's allowed to explore other women by now, but if he does then he has no claim to his rage. Look in the mirror [https://www.gta5fans.com/articles/gta-s-unforgettable-missions-my-wild-ride-through-gaming-s-most-epic-moments.html Www.Gta5Fans.Com] Kratos because you're the real vill

I’m worried that the same sense of loss immersion during my demo of XING will be applied to Grand Theft Auto, or other violent games released in the future, by the mainstream press, who already have a history of blowing video game violence out of proportion. GTA V on Oculus Rift won't make any person more violent, and it definitely won’t cause any deaths, but it does make the act of playing a violent game a lot harder to defend. All it would take is a 30 minute demo to a news outlet for a video with a headline like, "What Murder Simulator Are You Allowing Your Kids to Play," to be spread through the internet just like any of the other unsupported claims made by unsavory news outlets.

I find GTA V ’s issues especially interesting because Saints Row IV released barely a month before it and Saints Row IV succeeded in every aspect that GTA V failed. Fast, exciting transportation? Check. Lots of missions that are close enough together to reach? Check. Varied challenges that offer inherent value to improve your character? Check. 1255 clusters in town to improve your skills, carefully placed to catch your eye. Lots of wacky and entertaining missions that use the game mechanics in smart ways. Unique topography to keep missions engaging on a design perspective. All of these things made Saints Row IV a prime example of open-world gaming that not once felt like padding or busy work.

Zealous fans of the GTA series will have remembered the radio DJ Lazlow Jones from other games. Sending out pre-teen children into the wild with hordes of monsters roaming about sounds like a case for child services, but, that aside, I want to discuss legendary Pokémon instead. Each new game introduces several legendary Pokémon, but none has been more nonsensical as Arceus, which first appeared in Pokémon Diamond and Pokémon Pearl . Essentially this creature is believed to be the first Pokémon, who also created existence. Oh right, so he's God then. I understand Game Freak wanting to up the stakes with each new legendary monster, but why not keep them as just cool, rare Pokémon instead of creating literal Gods? If you want to do that, then make them unobtainable, otherwise it makes no sense how a child can catch a God, or the
