Some pieces from early Acts may still be powerful in later ones, though, and will remain equipped through several Acts.<br><br>When Multiclassing using the Eldritch Knight subclass, it's important to understand how spell slots are calculated. The Eldritch Knight subclass isn't a full caster, so only 1/3 of its level (rounded down) is added to the effective caster level when multiclassing. As an example, a level 3 Eldritch Knight with one level in Wizard would have an effective caster level of 2. Eldritch Knight is an excellent defensive subclass thanks to its access to spells like Shield, and it can further strengthen its defenses with Abjuration Wizard levels. In the case of the fighter, they can now choose the Arcane Archer subclass, gaining access to arcane arrows with a variety of powerful effects. By pairing Arcane Archer with the game's existing assortment of specialty arrows, this subclass can be incredibly versatile. This guide has been updated to discuss the new subclass, multiclassing options that work well with it, and equipment that works especially well with this new subclass.<br><br>There are a total of three BG3 subclasses Rogue players can try out, each of which focuses on different aspects of the class, and offers a selection of unique skills, proficiencies, and other features. As you level up in one of these BG3 Rogue subclasses, you will gain more abilities that are unique to your subclass choice.<br><br>There are a total of 12 classes that players will be able to pick from in the full version of Baldur's Gate 3 , including the multi-faceted Druid Class. If focusing on strength over dexterity but still using the dual-wielder feat, you could use the Nylruna trident (obtained by winning the jackpot from Akabi at the carnival, getting teleported to the jungle, and then picking the lock on the chest near the portal back to the Carnival) or Voss' Silver Sword (stolen from Kithrak Voss via pickpocketing or murder) in the main hand to great effect. The aforementioned trident is also excellent for adding some range to a Strength-focused Ranger Build.<br><br>The main benefits of Half-Orcs in BG3 are these two passives, called Savage Attacks and Relentless Endurance. Savage Attacks increases damage dealt by Critical Hits, while Relentless Endurance prevents Fighters from going down when they get to 0 HP once per Long Rest.
