A new version of the great flood would be sure to become a famous moment in the series. Such a dramatic change in Hyrule is rare to see in The Legend of Zelda , especially over the course of a single game. If TOTK is part of a new Zelda timeline , then seeing Hyrule go through such a transformative event would be a good way to establish the game's importance in said timel

Recall, perhaps one of the more straightforward abilities, seems to function similarly to BOTW 's Stasis - but, instead of freezing objects, it sends them back through time, which might lend credence to certain Tears of the Kingdom time travel theories . In the showcase, the ability is used to ride a rock that fell from the sky back up to access a sky island, meaning that it has interesting applications for exploration - although it's currently unknown if it can be used as freely as Stasis. For the time being, the ability seems like a way to get to sky islands in the early game, although which islands it can allow access to seems somewhat limi

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom _ is the highly anticipated sequel to _Breath of the Wild , and as such is bringing new features to its predecessor's open-world gameplay, including an ability that will let players combine their arrows with a variety of items. Breath of the Wild introduced elements that allowed for plenty of customization, letting players be creative in the way they approached the game. Now, it looks like Tears of the Kingdom is taking the free-form aspect even furt

Tears of the Kingdom flooding Hyrule and leading to The Wind Waker would be an interesting twist, but that's not the only direction that it could go. In fact, there is already at least one contradiction between the two games. Not only did the King of Hyrule have different names in both Breath of the Wild and The Wind Waker , but BOTW 's king was already dead long before that game, much less TOTK , while Wind Waker 's king was there at Hyrule's end. However, mining these deposits comes with a cost. Breaking the rocks generally means sacrificing some of a weapon’s durability, which in BOTW is of course a precious resource itself. On the other hand, it is also possible to break open Deposits with bombs, but this often leads to the contents being flung far wildly. In a worst-case scenario, this can even lead to some items being lost, especially if mining along cliffs. A pickaxe or similar item, perhaps an unbreakable version of BOTW ’s Iron Sledgehammer, would solve both of these issues with min

This is another combination with high potential for utility, but with the drawback of doing little to no damage. Mighty Bananas are notoriously loved by the Yiga Clan in BOTW , and they're easy to obtain since they can be purchased from Emri in Kara Kara Bazaar. Taking a feature from Mario Kart , Mighty Banana Arrows could be used to make enemies slip, stunning them for a short period of time, and possibly doing a minimal amount of damage, if

Breath of the Wild not only introduced an open world map, it also gave players the chance to be creative in the way they approached the game. Now, Tears of the Kingdom is showing that players will be able to get even more creative with Link's new abilities, one of which lets him combine any two items for a staggering number of possible combinations. While combinations with arrows already have a lot of potential, this is only the beginning of what Fuse could do in _The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom

Another common motif in the Zelda tattoo community is Link’s wolf form from Twilight Princess . This isn’t so surprising, given that wolf tattoos are popular in general. The flowing mane of Link’s wolf form is also perfectly suited to showing off beautiful line work by the tattoo artist, and the darker palette of Twilight Princess itself justifies a black-and-white tat

Tears of the Kingdom could end up reenacting Wind Waker 's, but with a different result than the timeline that led to that game's events. There have been so many incarnations of Link and Hyrule in The Legend of Zelda that almost every game could take place in its own dimension, all tied together with the vital elements of the series. Tears of the Kingdom 's flood may not be as world-changing as Wind Waker 's was, and perhaps the land could still be habitable by the game's

If Tears of the Kingdom has ships sailing around, then it's not out of the realm of possibility to think that Hyrule could be flooded during the events of TOTK . There are already floating islands, and it's possible that they could end up being an escape from the waters down below. Tears of the Kingdom may not be dark compared to other Zelda games, after all, but that doesn't mean that it won't see Hyrule experiencing another great turm
| |||
