|
In Breath of the Wild , Link has a variety of abilities at his disposal to help him navigate the world and defeat his enemies. The majority of these come from the Sheikah Slate, a mystical artifact left to him by Princess Zelda. With it, he can create bombs, manipulate metal, freeze water into climbable pillars, and even stop time for enemies or inanimate objects. Other powers come from the spirits of his friends, the former Champions who lost their lives fighting Calamity Ganon 100 years prior. From what's been shown of Tears of the Kingdom so far, it's uncertain if these powers will return, but thankfully there will be others to take their pl

Some of the new abilities that Link will use in **The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom ** have been revealed, and they look like they will be quite good and fun to use. There may also be more abilities revealed in the time leading up to release, in addition to the ones that players won't see until they actually pick up the game and possible changes to some of Link's returning BOTW abilities . TOTK releases next year on May 12, so there's plenty of time to reveal more of the powers Link will wield on his new adventure through Hyr

One of the first new abilities that was revealed showed Link passing through the ground on one of Tears of the Kingdom 's floating islands . This was first shown in Nintendo 's teaser at E3 2021 (now found on YouTube), but has not appeared since. When Link uses it, he floats upwards while surrounded by some kind of green light, and briefly pauses halfway through the ground before popping out of the other side. Immediately before this, a scene showed a drop of water falling to the ground in reverse, though the significance of this is unknown. Strange music also plays for the duration of the clip, and extends into the following

In Zelda: Twilight Princess , Link is a simple villager who goes to rescue the children of his village. He soon encounters the Twilight, a power that strips away the light from Hyrule, and is transformed into a wolf. Link then sets off on a journey across a Hyrule swallowed up by Twilight to rescue the Light Spirits and gather the Fused Shadows with the help of Twilight Princess ' fan-favorite sidekick Midna . Along the way, the two rescue the lost children and aid the various races of Hyrule. Eventually, they confront Zant, one of the main antagonists, as well as his evil patron, Ganondorf. Once they're both defeated, Midna goes home to the Twilight Realm before destroying the gateway between it and Hyrule, the Mirror of Twili

When Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom _ , sequel to the hit _Breath of the Wild , releases, it can have some classic enemies that have appeared in past games' bestiaries. So far, trailers and teaser videos have confirmed that some of BOTW 's enemies will return in Zelda: TOTK and that new enemies will also be coming, and there's likely more that still haven't been shown yet. Which ones, if any, can't be said for certain since there's still so much of the game still shrouded in mystery, however. Speedrunning is a big one, where players use tricks like wind bombing to finish BOTW as quickly as possible. Hearty food recipes for more hearts and gathering only a few good weapons and pieces of armor before the big boss fight are also good strategies to get a good run time. Players can strive to complete as many or as few objectives as they wish in a speedrun, [https://zeldatearshub.com/posts/nintendo-switch-2-amiibo-revival-tears-of-kingdom-and-street-fighter-lead-the-charge.html Street Fighter 6 amiibo] but generally the only goal is to vanquish Ganon quic

Dinolfos are a very good classic Zelda game enemy to appear in BOTW 's sequel. They look cool and tough, and could make a great overworld enemy that Link would encounter in most all areas. Since they wield weapons, they can have equally cool ones unique to them like other enemies do, and the fire-breathing varieties mean that they can come in different elemental forms like Lizalfos. In addition, they drop Dinolfos Fangs and Dinolfos Arm Guards when defeated in Hyrule Warriors , so they already have some drops for Tears of the Kingdom to use. Since they're also a stronger counterpart of Lizalfos as Moblins are to Bokoblins, the best way to use them could be for them to help lead them and fight alongside them just like Moblins and Bokoblins

If Midna were to appear in BOTW 2 , she may not reprise her role as Link's companion. Breath of the Wild and Twilight Princess are vastly different games, and it seems odd for her to accompany Link as she once did since he has no sidekick in the first BOTW and there's no evidence that he will have one in the second. In addition, light is harmful to Midna, since she's a member of the Twili race. She needs to stay in Link's shadow whenever she's in the world of light in Twilight Princess , so it doesn't seem like she would follow him in a Hyrule not taken over by the Twilight. It's more likely she would be a minor character if she returns in BOTW 2 , and be involved with a side quest or a minor questline instead of being a main character again. Alternatively, she could also appear in DLC just like her helmet did in the first BO
| ||
