In Breath of the Wild , Link has a variety of abilities at his disposal to help him navigate the world and defeat his enemies. The majority of these come from the Sheikah Slate, a mystical artifact left to him by Princess Zelda. With it, he can create bombs, manipulate metal, freeze water into climbable pillars, and even stop time for enemies or inanimate objects. Other powers come from the spirits of his friends, the former Champions who lost their lives fighting Calamity Ganon 100 years prior. One of them is the two different outfits that Link wears, both of which have appeared in past trailers. In the beginning of the new trailer, Link appears to have an improved version of the Champion's Tunic from BOTW , and is carrying a sword on his back. Later, when he's shown climbing some roots, he wears a green, one-sleeved outfit, and is carrying a much more primitive-looking wooden cudgel. While different outfits aren't really hard evidence, they seem to be portrayed with a sense of duality that may indicate that Link wears them in two different time peri

It's assumed that they possess far more normal strength than the average human due to the many impressive feats that Link can accomplish with usually no training. While many might attribute this to Link being the destined hero, it's important to remember that he isn't worthy because of his strength but because of his cour

The Gerudo Desert is very similar to Egypt, with pyramids and other buried and worn architects. In comparison, scenes where he wears the green outfit have a much more mysterious and wild atmosphere to them. They show less familiar scenery, and seem more focused on new aspects and the floating islands. In addition, Link uses the advanced flying mount when he wears the Champion's Tunic, which is very telling. It's entirely possible that the Champion's Tunic outfit is being used for scenes meant to take place after the events of Breath of the Wild , whereas the ones where Link is wearing his green outfit are in a distant p

One thing fans can expect Tears of the Kingdom to do that The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild did is to both introduce new races and expand upon the already created ones within the kingdom of Hyrule. This was first shown in Nintendo 's teaser at E3 2021 (now found on YouTube), but has not appeared since. When Link uses it, he floats upwards while surrounded by some kind of green light, and briefly pauses halfway through the ground before popping out of the other side. Immediately before this, a scene showed a drop of water falling to the ground in reverse, though the significance of this is unknown. Strange music also plays for the duration of the clip, and extends into the following

There are a great many side quests that players probably miss in BOTW unless they're actively seeking them out, and some stand out as worse than most. " The Stolen Heirloom " and " The Thunder Helm ," for example, both require players to finish multiple other side quests before they can be completed. " Zora Stone Monuments " involves hunting down hard-to-find stone tablets scattered across Zora's Domain. Missing in Action has a quest giver that's very easy to overlook and sees players going up and down the cliffs of the Koukot Plateau canyon. " Under a Red Moon " is a particularly hard quest to complete, as players need to travel to a remote area to talk to Kass, then stand on a platform under a rare Blood Moon with nothing equipped. There are also others such as Rushroom Rush that require a great deal of farming in order to get materials that players may want to put towards other purpo

The Gerudo are an (almost) all-female race.
