Whenever Fable 4 is planning to hit shelves, Xbox needs to highlight that it's coming out the gate strong and delivering what the fans want. It needs to show it has the system selling names, the exclusives, and the groundbreaking ideas to hang alongside the likes of Sony and stake itself a bigger claim in the generation to come. Microsoft has already shown that the Series X has groundbreaking technology and its marketing thus far has been wonderfully open and honest. All it needs now is a killer game that shows off exactly what the console can do, and Fable 4 seems to be exactly t

Xbox has shown that a freedom-driven, open-world experience can be accomplished with its first-party game Sea of Thieves from developer Rare (another UK-based studio like Playground Games, by the way). While Sea of Thieves had its own ups and downs, Rare successfully reinvented the game. Again, not that a next-gen Fable should copy Sea of Thieves , but hopefully learnings (and maybe even technology) from that game could be shared between Xbox's studios to influence Fable in a way that gives players that sense of freedom and helps the game achieve the grand RPG path that was originally envisioned with Project

Yet that doesn't mean every rumor spread online is true, and there are tons of rumors that simply will not manifest at E3 2019 . What does or doesn't make it to the stage remains to be seen, and though these rumors do not have any real confirmation, here are the biggest rumor game announcements for the gaming e

As 2019 wraps up, there's no denying that this has been an incredible year for both games and for game trailers. It's exciting to speculate about what 2020 will bring to the table and we're already looking forward to what trailers will arrive as the launch of next-gen consoles rapidly approac

However, when looking at the long list of Microsoft and Sony franchises that could make the jump to next-generation hardware, it's fairly evidently who has the edge. Taking star power and prominent, marketable franchises into account, Sny is packing several massive names that are each easy system sellers. Horizon, Spider-Man, God of War , The Last of Us, Ratchet and Clank, Uncharted; these are all series that are offering fresh, interesting concepts that fans are clamoring to see more of, and that's without even mentioning all the currently dormant franchises that Sony could dip its toes back into as w

Who said spooky cannot also be cute? Polterpup may be a ghost, but it still has all its dog charm. Also, the name is adorable. Leaked footage of a triple-A Harry Potter RPG began circulating months ago, but there's been complete radio silence regarding the project since then. Fans were hoping that Warner Bros. would make a surprise appearance at one of the press conferences this year to show off the game, but the focus was instead put on another adaptation, LEGO Star Wa

A next-gen Fable , sometimes referred to as Fable 4 in the absence of an official announcement, has been rumored for quite some time to be in development. With this year's launch of Xbox's next-gen offering with the Xbox Series X console, those rumors have naturally shifted to suggest that Fable would appear as a next-gen game if it is indeed in development at

Said to have a "small chance" at appearing during Microsoft's E3 press conference, a Perfect Dark reboot would certainly be welcomed by fans of a franchise long-thought dead. Yet, if this does prove to be the case, it's rumored to be in third-person and not developed by Rare Studios, marking significant changes from the original, so it remains to be seen how the reception of a reboot would stand up in compari

Fable fans have been waiting quite some time for another entry in the franchise after Fable Legends was canceled by Microsoft. First of all, the wolf's design is awesome. It is huge, epic, and carries a giant sword. Also, its backstory is very tragic.
