While character entrances probably won't dynamically change gameplay, they will at least flesh out each character's respective Nickelodeon universe. Perhaps the trailer is alluding to unlockable or secret animations that can be equipped from a character screen.


In an announcement that shocked the world, a brand new fighting game was announced by the popular studio Ludosity, and it is going to feature the animated characters of Nickelodeon . The first trailer came out for Nickelodeon All-Stars Brawl , and it looked to have several similarities to Nintendo's popular franchise Super Smash B

For example, the Manhattan stage from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is shown quite a bit throughout the trailer. While it doesn't specifically show different variations, it could be a more hidden or nuanced feature that only happens during certain matches. Dynamic stages could make each subsequent match more exciting and varied.

Nickelodeon viewers who grew up watching the early-morning Noggin block will remember this moose and bird duo. Acting as a teacher of sorts to the viewers, Moose would ask questions while Zee would communicate with various blinks.

The trailer shows specific items that tie directly to each character. It's hard to know if these items are just cosmetic flourishes or if they are actual weapons.

But, the dream scenario most fans are probably hoping for is that they'll remix many of the iconic songs from these shows into full tracks similar to how Smash did. We'd love to see a version of "Icky Vicky" from Fairly Odd Parents tailored to a fighting game or even a different rendition of "Gooby Goober" from the first Spongebob movie.

Ideally, their moveset should encompass everything about KaBlam, with callbacks to different sketches like Life with Loopy, Sniz and Fondue, Prometheus and Bob, and the aforementioned Action League Now. The possibilities are endless, making them a great fit for this less-than-serious fighter.
