The Best Character Revamps In Wuthering Waves Ranked
The confusion of some players regarding whether or not Lingyang is the Jingle Beast also comes down to the unclear writing in his quest, making that revelation much less affecting for some. The poor writing also morphs attempts at serious storytelling into unintentional hilarity. For example, the 'sorry you had to see that part of me' line has become a bit of a meme in certain Wuthering Waves Builds Waves circles onl
Throughout its three pre-release phases—technical test, CBT1, and CBT2— Wuthering Waves underwent significant changes to its gameplay and visuals. Among these revisions, the most notable involved the reimagining of popular Resonators and NPCs. This list introduces seven of the most prominent character revamps since the global launch, sorted from minor to major transformati
To find the correct location, players should head north of the marker and climb the roof of the building next to the mountain as can be seen in the map above. There are several points where players can use their Grapple to scale the building more quickly. Once players reach the highest roof of this mountain, they will see the glowing marker and be prompted into another cutscene , which will pan the camera to a ring-shaped ancient structure. After this, a new marker by the Pavilion will appear, and players will need to set their in-game clock to between 13:00–15:00 to meet Changli at this locat
Head east of the Bell-Borne Geochelone , which is a popular hangout for many Hoartoises. To easily spot the distinctive sheen of the Phantom Hoartoise, stand on top of the cliffs and look down into the valley along the mouth of the ri
The Lightcrusher is a formidable Echo native to Mt. Firmament with a high attack strength, so be prepared for a battle when farming Phantom Echoes. Equipping a Lightcrusher Echo in the primary slot gives you the ability to transform into a Lightcrusher and then rush forward, dealing Spectro damage; by holding down the Echo Skill key, you can lunge for a longer distance, gaining momentum and increasing your attack's effectiven
If you missed out on Yinlin, there are still some nice alternatives to consider. Mortefi also fits nicely in a team with Jinshi and her kit does have nice synergy with his. Mortefi will buff her heavy attacks and since her heavy attack isn’t a trigger for any bigger moves, you’ll end up using it a lot to extend combos and keep enemies airborne for as long as possible. The only downside with using Mortefi is that he has a longer Resonance Liberation cooldown than most characters, so when you do switch him in and out, sometimes he might not have his Resonance Liberation available for use. Regardless, he is still a solid character to pair Jinshi with.
Yinlin's character design has always been adored by Wuthering Waves fans. Since her introduction to the fandom, she has captured attention and excitement, with some considering her the most attractive Resonator in Solaris-3. However, following the tech test and CBT1, Yinlin's model underwent a revamp focusing on her face and outfit. Her new appearance better aligns with her master puppeteer persona, featuring an outfit that is less Gyaru—or girly—than her original att
Players will need to step on certain pressure plates to advance. This puzzle requires players to step on the pressure plate on the left side while the little girl steps on the right side. After that, the door will unlock, and players can move forward, where they will encounter more enemies that need to be defeated. Afterwards, they will also need to use the nearby flaming flower with their leviator to burn the blocking branches and move ahead. Players will once again defeat a set of enemies and move towards the area. There are a decent number of supply boxes around that players can collect on the way to the next section as they move forward, investigating various it
Unfortunately, Yinlin's Story quest doesn't deliver 100% of the time. While its setup is interesting and has a lot of opportunity to explore Yinlin and her background, it doesn't live up to its potential due to the recurring issue of poor writing. Yinlin also suffers the same issue as Lingyang when it comes to popping up out of nowhere. Since this Companion Story quest is the first time players meet her, it feels a bit hollow. That being said, Yinlin's Companion Story does a good job at making players want to get to know her m
Once Yuanwu has the proper weapons, echoes, and teams all set up, you are golden to use him in your teams. Of course, he’ll need levels in everything, but you will also want to look into upgrading his normal abilities too. These will cost some resources found in forgery challenges as well as some just found from exploring the world. Upgraded skills don’t add a ton to his numbers at first, but they will slowly start to add up and really make him hit harder, especially if you are using his weapons that will scale with his defense. After you’ve gotten him set up you’ll have a very strong character to add to your team that will support heavy hitters for a long time.
