8 whether to clear Microsoft Corp's proposed $69 billion acquisition of "Call of Duty" maker Activision Blizzard, according to a European Commission filing on Friday.

'The Star does under the legislation have an opportunity, natural justice, to put forward a case about what should happen next so I don't want to preempt that but it is open to government to cancel their license, to suspend their license,' she said. 

PointsBet responded to the complaints during the inquiry saying the company 'unquestionably believes that the advertisement is wholly compliant with all applicable codes and legislative or regulatory regimes'.

'The Panel considered that this phrase being shouted at a television while watching a sporting match was consistent with its colloquial usage, and was not inappropriate in the circumstances, nor was it strong or obscene language.'

In a statement, Twitch said it would no longer allow the "streaming of gambling sites that include slots, roulette, or dice games." That list of sites is currently limited to Stake.com, Rollbit.com, Duelbits.com and Roobet.com but could expand as Twitch continues to investigate. The ban is set to go into effect on Oct. 18. 

Twitch said Tuesday it will remove high-profile gambling sites from the Amazon-owned streaming platform after a number of high-profile streamers like Pokimane, Mizkif and Devin Nash threatened a boycott of Twitch during peak traffic periods.

The Star Entertainment Group (TSEG) says it has a plan for "a multi-year transformation of the governance, accountability and capabilities, culture and risk, and compliance management practices of the organisation".
